I was on the phone to a guy from ffxi support getting my account details back. After that he said if I top up (pay for the account) now Ill only get to play till the end of the month and still pay the full price!

I may have miss understood him. If I were to pay for my account say on the 18th would I only get 12 days worth of gaming and then be billed again on the 1st of the next month and have my days left updated to 30. Or will it carry my days over so I would have 42 days worth?

if you are comeing back to FFXI then yes you pay full price and on the end of the month you had to pay for the new month to stay playing

No. If you reactivated on the 18th, they will charge you for a full month's service at the next billing cycle (1st). However, you will only get to play 12 days before the next billing cycle. On the 1st, they will charge you for the month of the 18th and the new month ($12.95 + $12.95). However, this time you'll have a full 30/31 days to play before the next billing cycle.

Nothing rolls over. You don't get to keep/makeup unused days.

Bottom line: don't reactivate at the end of the month.
