Wow, that is awesome! Usually people have a big pissing match back and forth instead of doing the mature thing and /blisting them. Good job! But yes, definately report them.

I remember a while back when this person named Americanyankee was going around in Selbina hurling insults. First he started with "jap", "chink" and "gook" and made a lot of insults and cultural references about asians, particularly Japanese. Then he went on and started talking about Jewish people being "homo," Hilter was a hero, using the "N" word to talk about people of African descent and then went the whole nine yards after that. For almost 15 min, this went on, including emotes and other expressions. I think there were a lot of offended players and even the japanese players called GM. Guess what? Nothing.

This player is now level 75 and participating fully in end-game. I mean, is there something wrong with player cultures, lack of GM authority or what?

Doesn't surprise me that AY did this, seems like his mentality. But yes his character is still around. Saw him bazaaring just a couple weeks ago in fact. The most I get from GM's is /blist, filter, or we'll look into it. Results X

I'm surprised they are so leanient (can't spell that! ) with it online, in the Uk if you shout racial abuse at people of different races religions etc. there is a law which can prosecute you, shouting any kind of absue etc. or slaggin off people is a form of bullying and I would think SE should take a better stance on this. Here in teh uk there is a growing trend of bullying by text, emails, messenger etc. FF can easily be used for this also. I understand that many countries have different laws on this, but I would have though square enix should take the best approach and ban people even on a temporary basis to start with and monitor them if they are being abusive, racially abusive etc. I wonder if they ever thought they would have problems like this when they came up with the online concept of the game.

I've seen people get let off easy for MPK'n. GM response: "We didn't see it so we can't suspend them for it." Then on the complete flip side, I got Mordian Gaol'd for auto following someone for half an hour in Kazham. Go figure.
