Hey guys, I just got my NPC. I'm a Hume, and in FFXI, i know i'll always be a mage, whether it's BLM/WHM/SMN/BUM/RDM, i will always be a mage. So, what i did was, picked out my NPC to be a GALKA, my thought was that he will be a fighter always, and i will heal him, and fight with him, and since i'm always the mage, this will be the best combination.
Now i'm worried that I made the wrong choice. In future additions if you can change the job of the NPC, and say you could be a WHM, will my NPC be worse than a Taru NPC becuase of their race, or will it not matter with NPCs?? lol
Has anyone known a difference currently with the damage and effectiveness of a, for example, taru NPC vs a Galka or Elevall NPC? thanks!
