Map Replacing Question, Please

Hi, I just bought the PC version. I was wondering if you could change some of the in-game maps such as the map for "North Gustaberg" and replace it with a custom map of your own, such as a JPEG or PNG or BMP, so that you can view the map you want in-game. Is that possible to do and if so how do i do it? Thanks a lot guys!

thanks! but do you know if the new maps cause any slowdowns? or is it just like the regular map, I have a slow system, lol?

It just changes one texture for another, there's no difference in performance.

understand , thanks. And this is awesome, it makes places a lot easier, HIGHLY RECOMENDED, (but watch, i'll be the only noob who hasn't done it yet, lol)
