Hello all. I am a former FFXI player and I been away since about June 2004 to eventually start my adventures in WoW. I feel as if I have done everything there is to do in that game and I am thinking about taking a break from it. So now I am thinking about comming back to FFXI. The game wants me to purchase a new Content ID but is there a way I can get my old one back? I had a 53 RDM and a bunch of other classes. It would be cool if I could get them back.

there is a revive ID button. If it doesn't work you'll have to create new one im afraid.

I saw a reactivate button but it did not work ./cry. But I hear that people can reactivate up to one character by calling support. Its too late now but has anyone else ever tried this and it worked?

        Re: Content ID

I have reacvtivated one character through the support number.
I do not know if there are time restraints on it, but its worth a try.

they claim anything past 90 days is no longer recoverable. That doesn't sound good for you Katra.

          Thanks Yyg!

            Re: Content ID

All depends it's suppose to be after 90 days the Content ID is lost or more precise seems to be archived to a sub system. Then from there decided weather to permenantly remove or not. The process appears to be done manual which is why some players have been able to recover their info even past the 90 days, but since yours is back in June 2004 I don't know if you'll have luck with it.
