Help Needed!
Ok - I installed POL, then downloaded the update for it, it restarted then I registered the account and got email etc sorted out. Then I installed FFXI, Then rebooted.
loaded up POL, went to FFXI section, clicked Play at the top, then Play again, nothing happens and then POL quits - It doesnt even launch the Game!!!
I then went to check files in POL, this doesnt work either?!?!?,
So then I uninstalled FFXI, Rebooted, then loaded up POL, then check files seemed to work? - I was like ok?
So I went to webchat on POL, did that connection test, that was fine, did my specs, that was fine, did what they said and no luck! - They say its a system error, but theirs no error code or anything!!! - I scored about 5333 on the Benchmark 3 test they have on high, so i did ok.
Its as if when FFXI is installed POL cannot work properly, its weird and I need a solution to this because its been nearly 2 weeks with this problem!
I have no problems with my current games Like HL2, and Counter-strike source can play them fine on the internet, no errors etc.
Theirs something wrong going on in the installation but I dont know what to do!
I have even tried a clean new windows install, updated drivers etc, but the check files only works when FFXI is not installed?????
I have even changed my discs where i bought it from, and still no luck!!
If anyone has a way around this or any suggestions to get this to work, because its not my system specs or connection or anything, so its just when FFXI is installed POL doesnt operate properly - Although I can still log in etc.
Its a weird problem I know, so any suggestions would be helpful - Thanks.
