The overlay is the actualy resolution and the UI resolution, the backround resolution is just how good the backround looks (basicly, i dont want to explain). the backround resolution is just how the game prosseses the game and does not effect the actual screen resolution

If you are still confused, you realy dont have to understand it you just need to input it into your registry to make the game look better, its that simple .

No, I'm not confused about anything you said there, but if you could or could find somebody to explain it, I would like you to explain it in depth. I know much about computers and I would like to know more.
