Coming back to the game after a 2 yr. break

I don`t know if any of you guys remember me but I was pretty into the game about 2 yrs. ago playing on the Japanese Ragnarok server. I took a 2 yr. break and am actually living in Japan right now. I intend to get back into playing in Nov. 2005 but I had some questions. I would try to check the forums and everything but I just don`t have alot of time on a computer, so if any of you can answer my questions I`d greatly appreciate it. Ya, so I was playing on a Japanese playstaion, 1. is the Japanese Ragnarok server and English Ragnarok server different? I also closed my account, but I really want to get my character back, I had all the jobs up to at least lvl. 25 and was playing lvl. 38 Drg/ War. I was pretty far and I really don`t want to start all the way over. But if I have to I will. (man I love this game). 2. Can I get that Character back? and if I can, will it be on a Japanese server. I can play in Japanese but I`d rather play in English. 3. Which server seems to be the most popular. I know that`s kindof a vague question but which should I get on if I can. I really liked Ragnarok. 4. Does anyone remember me? (Sojo) I was blonde,young,elvaan. I kinda lost contact w/ everybody but I really want to get back into the game. I had to leave all of my stuff at home to come to Japan. Anyway, if anybody could help me out o-negai shimasu. domo

There are no JP exclusive servers. Rag is very populated. Nope don't think you'll be able to get your character back.

1. They are the same server.
2. SE was doing a "Return to Vanadiel" thing where ppl who lost their accounts years ago could them back. Dont know if its still running, but its worth a shot.
3. Ragnarok and Midgar seem to be the most popular servers on this site, but other forums have a stronger following from different servers.
4. Try posting in the Rag forum and see if anyone remembers you or if they know of anyone still playing that you used to play with.

They will allow one character reactivation for an account. Try calling up the customer support number and talking to a rep. about it.

Oh, thanks. That gives me hope. They really let you reactivate up to 1 old character? That would be so cool if I could. I`ll try calling them when I get back to the states and get everthing hooked up again.

They may, they may not. A friend that quit and wanted to play again was able to get his character reactivated after 6 months had passed. My cousin tried after being gone over 10 months and could not. I think it depends if customer service is in a good mood that day or not. LOL

They did have an event where you could reactivate a character, but it ended on July 13th.

I guess you could call the number someone else posted, but I don't know if they'll give you your character back. You may have to start over.
