Using JP POL with my EU version!?

ok, so I finally found my import version of FFXI --

Now I want to try and install JP POL, because I've been told that that makes your FFXI version JP?! Is this even true ... And if I install JP POL, can I just install it somewhere else and stillbe able to run FFXI or?! ... Well, I'm not really sure about what to do ... So could anyone possibly help?!

you can, i currently have JPversion and NA version on my computer (jp isnt updated) and my NA runs fine, except for the fact that i get some weird little bugs <o<
