What types of character names are generally excepted in FFXI?

I stole my name from Max Payne... :\ I changed a letter though and it's the name I use for most online things so I just used it for FFXI too.

Saw a Mithra named 'Washerdryer'...

And there's a guy named 'Chrisiscool' on my server, makes me wanna barf!! :sweat:

Hmmm, most of my friends have good names...

His name's actually Chrisicool , and he is a farily good player.
I don't mind most names. "Title" names kinda bother me. We don't have too many FF look alike names on Pande though.
I've also seen some JP players with names that may be "unagreeable"..not really bad, but I've seen Ubernuker(who is an excellent WHM, never let one of die)

There was a guy named Pigbenis on Midgard. Apparently that wasn't accepted as I heard S-E made him change it. Sadly, I've seen worse names than that running around and they've not changed.


One of the funniest names has to be the Galka named Schoolgirl. ^_^

My character name is Mortiferus, it mean's bringer of death.
And my other characters name is Invictus. I have no idea what Invictus means... the last server I was on, however, my character name was Click because that's my character name on Battle.Net and it's stuck with me for awhile.

There's a Beyonce and Rickjames on my server. Also, I enjoy all the 'intimidating' names some people choose, like the aforementioned Deathbringer, or a name like 'Killa.' So when I made my mule, as a joke, I named him 'Drhobomasher'! He'd mash those hobos good, too, if he weren't vertically challenged.
