Furniture Storage?

Furniture now gives storage space... but does anyone have any details on this?

All the furniture I've got merely offers 1 storage space. Not that it's a bad thing, but I'm hoping to find things that might add EXTRA space. At least +2 to make a piece of furniture actually ADD to my inventory.

These are the things I have, all add +1 storage (which amounts to a net total of +0 since the furniture itself is taking up 1 space):

Mahogany Bed
Brass/Earthen/Ceramic Flowerpots
Armor Box
Angelica's Blood (the painting)
Wastebasket
Workbench
Stationary Set

Perhaps I misunderstood the recent change and addition of the Storage - maybe there's nothing that adds to total storage space afterall. =(

if you set the furniture in your mog house , it dont take up space in your inventory , so by having the furniture in your mog house , its adding , i dont know if this is right , im too poor for house stuff

Furniture always takes space. Therefore -1 space for the furniture, +1 from the storage is gives is a net total of 0. So I'm trying to find if there's anything that gives more than +1 storage.

Well I am pretty sure that not every item provides storage, that would be silly if you think about it (What going to stuff your armor into flowerpots?) I haven't spent time to see what items actually provide storage, but I only have a total of 3 furniture items in my Mog House and I have +6 for Storage. All I have in there is:

Bronze Bed
Stationary Set
San D'orian Dresser (? Can't remember the name exactly, but basicaly the graphic shows 6 drawers on it)

I'm guessing it's just the dresser I have that is providing storage cause 6 drawers and 6 storage seems to make sense to me.

EDIT:

Just to make sure you are aware, that anything put in Storage you can't access in a Rent-A-Room. Just do the mog safe expansion or inventory expansion if you really want to expand your inventory. The mog safe expansion isn't all that bad just be prepared to use about 20k gil to finish the quest.

Odd as it may seem, yes you can stick a piece of armor into your flowerpots. As described in my first post, I've already verified that a Flowerpots and a Stationary Set add +1 storage. And I didn't buy a Mahogany Bed (51k) just for appearances; I've already completed the first Moghouse Expansion with the Bronze Bed, currently working on the 2nd. (On 3rd Gobbie Bag quest as well.)

Now if you've got 6 storage with those items, your dresser must be adding +4. Definitely worth checking out when I get home from work.

windhurtian storage chest gives 2 space.

and i believe that the sandorian armory would give most, but there is no in ah to test out.
