  • How Do I Get To Sandoria???

    Hi everyone!
Ok so Here is something that might make you laugh, I was looking at screenshots the other day, and Sandoria LOOKS AWESOME! So beautiful. I really want to go there. I am currently at WINDURST and I'm lvl 10. I Have gone too Far to start over in Sandoria.
Here's the funny part. I thought I would go on an Adventure....

I walked ALLLLL the way From windurst to Jeano at lvl 10. And Couldn't get To Sandoria Due to HUGE ASS MONSTERS. I walked for about 3 hours just to throw myself charging into a giant Marboro to die in one hit and respawn in Windurst.

SOMONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND A WAY TO GET TO SANDORIA.

and also? If I go to Sandoria, Can I do Sandoria Missions? Do I still have my lvl 2 Rank? ????????

    THANKS ALL =o) Happy playing

Ok, I will give you a small version of the directions, but you shoudl be able to figure it out.

From windurst, exit to Saru, and go to east Saru. From there go to the canyon place right after East Saru. Stick to the right side no matter what, hug the walls if that will help you. If you hug the right side all the time you will go down a lil pathway into Bubu penninsula. From there ho to Mhaura, but the directions to navigate through Bubu Penninsula may be a lil harder.

Ok, here is my directins to get through the Penn., after getting into this region, run past the outpost but always being focused on avoiding gobs, and I mean staying as far way from them as possible, they will kill you with one hit -_-. After going past the outpost u will see a rode, stick to the rode. It will make a turn to the left, follow, and it will then make a right, follow it still. From there it will be a straight run for a bit. But dont stay on the road for this one, but stick to a side becuz the gobs will flaunt their strengths on the road. Anyways, besides completely dodging the gobs, you will come out (if you come out) to a wide open area. Keep going straight, and shoudl have the map of this area already so dont be worried. Check the south side of the map for a place here it curves in and thats the sea-port known as Mhaura. Go there, but be careful of the gobs, and dont cast any magic near the elementals, and be careful for the bogies at night. Well anyways once you make it to Mhaura, there will be be stairs on two sides which u must take, one is to get your Home=point and the other to take you to the boat which u must take. I advise getting the home-point but if you dont want to run through Penn again if you die, then don't.

And the boat costs 100 gil, talk to the person on the left side of the small structure guarded by a galka. You may have to wait 1-15 minutes in real-time. Stay by the deck and wait till the ship is ready to board and get on. After 2 minutes or so the ship will leave. Once the boat takes off you will be on the ship for a long time (this tiem you will have to wait a full 15 minutes) but I will tell you what i always do when i am on the boat. There will be two doors on one side of the room your in, go in one of the two. Now before going up the stairs, jus chill right before the stairs, and u shoudl be safe from any monster attacking you.

After so long, the boat will arrive in Selbine, from there do a shout and ask if anyone will escort you to San d'Oria. Jus do it once or ppl will hink your annoying, if noone answers just continue to the similiar structure you baught your ticket before but this time it is still on YOUR left side. and talk to the closest NPC and they wll ask if you would like to enter the city and select yes or no if you want to take the boat back to Mhaura -_-.

Then go up the stairs on your right and set your HP there if you want. Then keep going up the stairs on your left. and exit through the gates.

You will be in Valkurm, if you lvl 12-120 you can acually xp here ^^. Now if you jus want to et to San d'oria, keep going straight and after leaving the brown gates, you will see a wide open area, but go right and avoid Gon's ghouls and bogy's. that means goblins skeletons and ghosts ^^.

Now when running to thre right, be sure nto to run too much to the right because you might end up at the beah, but run in a North-East direction, but dont run into the cliffs, try to tstay on complete sand where you view everything around you. Now after so long you will have to move up on a higher cliff to proceed on so try to get higher by running up a hill of somesort, then keep going right, on the left shoudl be a big cliff wall or an indentation that has trees and gobs are runnign around with damselflies. But after sometime, you will see a small path ahead oh you, take it, it will go a lil in, then a quick right, gobs shoudl be in that lil pathway, so either wait for a PT to kill it, or wait for the perfect time to run past it. Stick to tew left wall if you can and it will make a turn to the left, and then it will make you turn right and go straight and you will enter La Theine. From there, it is very hard to navigate.

Wow, 20 minutes trying to type this and imagine the ways have been used ^^. Anyways, continueing on with the explanation, you will be in la Theine.

From there avoid al gobs orcs, elemnals (in case ou can do magic, dont near them or the bomb's), rams, and skeltons. Now from where you are, run straight, then you will see a place to turn to your left. The look quickly to your right and go straight that way. You will seea n indentation to your right, but dont go that way, instaed keep ging straight until you see a cliff, and follow it to your right until you see a small winding road that will take you up onto it. now try to get on the road from there. Once on the road follow it to you left, it will go in a straight notion, meaning that it will wind from lef tto right bur it will be ultimately straight nonethless.

Now it will go right and stay that way, follow it whiel still avoiding the monsters. he road will still be moving but keep at it, but there will be a fork, one will make you to keep going straight, but one will make you turn right, go right, and you should be very near West Ronafaure. Now when going down this road you will see many adventurers xping, that will give you the sign you are near. Now keep following the road, when it stops, you will see a small pathway that leads further in filled with grass and the walls will be the mountains... follow that into west ron. And there you go bro, in a place where you shoudl no longer fear any monster, but be sure to be at full health and ready to fight anything becuz you still have a good run to go to Sandoria. Now, once n GO straight past the broken wall and immediately you shoudl see a road, if not keep going straight and wou will see it.FOloow the road, this will be the safest route for one who has neverbeen here. It will lead you past the outpost, and keep going, you will round a small mountain, and it will make you go North-East past some more mountains, and you will have a choice to go left or right after a while of walking, if not jus keep following the road, but if it gives you the choice take right.

And you will be confronted by the Strongest Kingdom in Vana'diel. it will have an entrance for you to walk in and there my friend.... San d'oria...

Hope that made sense bro, if not I will be sure to answer any question you have.. and no you will not be able to do San d'Oria missions, unles syou change allegiances. Alrigth bro, peace out...

Thats the problem, to change allegiences you need to pay 10,000 gil to an NPC in the big tree in the middlew of Windhurst if I recall. If you do not do this then you are not a member of the other country, and cannot do their missions, I do not know about quests.

You can do quests there, just no missions. The big tree in windurst is if you're registering to change allegiance to windurst. There will be an area in San D'oria too were you'll have to pay to join become a citizen of San D'oria.

          EDIT:

If you change your citizenship your rank will drop back to 1. The rank is sort of like you're loyalty to that nation, so of course being that you're a new citizen you're consider loyalty/populaty would be low..
