The same thing happened to me too when I tried to help my San d'Orian friends (I'm from Bastok). I'm sorry that happened Gaara. It seems that you can only do that mission if that's the mission you're supposed to be doing, meaning that first off you have to be from San d'Oria and second have the mission accepted and in your mission log. Only one emoticon can express my feelings toward this: ><!!! (That's three exclamation points - now I mean business!).
