Ok, mission 10 was a success even though I wasn?ft there for the last half of it (heh). Anyway, im just gonna make this little journal because I haven?ft made any in a while. It is a little incomplete cause I wasn?ft there for the last half so maybe someone else who was there can pick up on it. Ok, we all meet in Upper Jeuno. I was discouraged because I had to go in about 4 hours and half the people were either not logged on or in PT?fs. But everyone who wasn?ft logged, logged on, and everyone who was in a PT got out of it and we were all able to leave to my surprise at 12:30 (supposed to leave at 12:00). Also we got some extra help from some English speaking Japanese which was also nice. Our original goal was just to have a PT sized (6 people) part to do M10 but we ended up having two whole PT?fs. Here is most of us meeting in Jeuno:
We had 2 white mages so we were all able to transport both PT?fs out of there and we meet at the Highlands Creg.
Our goal is to reach Beadeaux but we find out that Chocobo prices are almost 1k. Screw That! So we book it through the highlands and through the Marshlands:
Once were in Beadeaux we gotta kill 2 NM monsters that drop some rare+ex items. Since 1 of the items was just a rare item and not ex, most people bought them from the Auction House before we even left but we had to get 1 for someone who didn?ft get one. So we get to Beaux. and look around for the NM:
Thanks to the kunfu-master Miyamotomushai (there is no way in the world im gonna remember how to spell your name dude), he scanned out one of the NM?fs we needed so we seeked him out and practically raped (rapped? What ever) him:
Ok, we got 1 item drop and the dude who needed his item got it. Now we had to find the other NM monster but the only problem is that it was far away. We had a few lower levels going on the mission so almost everything aggroed us. We had to fight our way through most the time. Plus we got hit by curse traps so that didn?ft help out either. One Quadav we were fighting, almost everyone had curse on them and the Quadav casted some group magic or something and almost wiped out both of our PT?fs. It left my 1,000HP Dark Knight with 47HP after the attack. (I only had like 270HP with the Curse on). Yeah, so that was a bitch. We finally get far enough and Kunfu-Master scans up the other NM we need to fight and were on our way:
When we get there, the problem is that there is another PT doing the same exact thing. The funny thing was also is that half of them were dead by the time we got there. The NM that we were after was just too much for them. We decided to join up with them and make an alliance. Then we just started to beat the crap out of everything while we waited for the 16 minute spawn NM to spawn up. We probably got about 10k worth of drops the whole time:
We finally kill the damn thing. The only problem is that it only dropped one of the rare+ex items we needed and 6 people needed that item (people in the JP PT we joined as well) We all pass the item and let the JP PT person to have it first because they were there first before us so they deserve it. Then we fight a second one and it drops 2 of the items we need. The other JP PT we joined up with left because they already had all there items. Once they left we waited out and killed a third NM Quadav we needed to kill and we got 3 items this time. Perfect, we are done now. We think were done until we find out Dart went AFK. We just poked him a few hundred times and he comes back. (poking always works ^^) Ok, he?fs back and we transport to the LaTheine Creg but this time we take Chocobos to get there:
We want to get to Davoi and find one of the Magacies there. We finally reach Davoi but the problem is that no one knows where it?fs at. We go around and kill a few Orcs for some cash, probably got about 3k worth of drops in like 10 minutes. For some reason some people thought I knew where it was but I never said anything like that :? It doesn?ft matter anyway because we run into while looking. There is a some strange force field door we have to pass through and many of us are having trouble getting through when the only thing we had to do was select the thing
took about 3 minutes until we actually figured that out:
So we get through, find the Magacy and watch a very long cutscene (I couldn?ft watch it because I already watched it before) These Magacy?fs explain the whole story line to Final Fantasy XI but it?fs sad cause most of us don?ft even understand it (including me):
Ok, so we are all finally done and we head off to transport to the Tahrongi Canyon Creg:
We all hop on a Chocobo this time cause the price wasn?ft too bad and were off:
We finally reach Castle Oztroja and we go through. Again everything aggroed us.
Many birds, it was a pain. We were doing fine until about half the group fell down a trap door which I told them about (doh). Delays us for about 20 minutes. I had to fall down there too because no one knew where they were going plus we had to kill a lot of birds and bats along the way:
We finally meet up again up top and kill any bird that stands in our way again. This is the time I had to go though. We had 2 times as many people as we planned so it wasn?ft really a problem if I left. Anyone want to pick up after this?
