I'm sure that any person isn't that damn stupid. Even a 3 yr old has the sense to read the fucking guide book by the time they reach lvl 13! I really doubt that this conversation actually happened.

These stories actually do happen, sorry to say. Granted, you might not think people this dumb play the game, but there are. I, myself have NEVER read the guidebook except for some basic stuff here in there in the first chapter or so for game setup and keypad config.

As a matter of fact, I got into an arguement (or rather a few people got into an arguement) with 2 players about person vs person play. They said there was no such thing and we tried to explain to them about Ballista and the teams playing against each other and they called us liars and idiots etc., because they didn't get any 'ballista disc' when they bought the game.

I don't hate people new to the game. I explained the difference between noobs and n00bs any why the latter are a source of fun.

Another case point, a friend of mine was lvling his SMN last night as he just recently unlocked it and was running through E or W Ron with carbuncle chasing behind him and someone started yelling at him to stop running. He asked why and they told him they couldnt catch up to him to voke off the blue cat thing so he could get away.

These things not only happen to me. Continue to think I am an ass if you must as I have a buddylist that shows there are 3/4 times the people that don't. As I stated, you don't like what you read here, don't come to my journal. Plain and simple. If you want to come here just to flame, you will find your efforts without merit.

?? for those of you reading...isn't there a quest or someone in Norg that you can talk to that will give you a few other names lists for your wyvern? I chose Nanaja as the name for mine but I want to see what else is available. Anyhoo, any of you have any ideas on changing your wyvern's name?

The 'Will /panic for gil' part is obviously a joke. Here's a suggestion, before you start flaming and sounding like a newbie yourself, maybe you should think about what you say. You can't go around acting like you're smarter and better than someone and then in the same post insult them with vulgar language. It's rather hypocritical.

Just because you're a higher level doesn't automatically make you more intelligent. :p

Nahi, relating to your Dragon, I don't know the name/loc of the person, or if this is even the person you're talking about, but there is one NPC who'll give you a larger list of names. The only catch is that he charges something like 10,000 gil and I'm not sure if you can quest it.

Really, I have to agree with Kah. The people on the Unicorn server can be stupid... It's realy sad, I must say. Damn, I wasn't that stupid when I frist started the game. I had a good sense of the game. Like I said, It's very sad -.-

....see, it is people like you that I make fun of because you are too stupid to be out and about without adult supervision as you are obviously, lord of the literal.

At no point did I ever say that I am in need of gil nor did I ever say that I dont have other ways of making any. I farm and I fish and I craft and I do quests and missions. No I might not have a ton of gil, but right now having 20K (possibly more as I have yet to play today and not checked the status of stuff I have on the AH) and not in need of buying anything makes me feel all warm inside.

As for my newbie status, yeah there are still quite a few things I don't know about the game and still learning as I go. Again, there's a difference between being a newbie/noobie and being a n00bie, ar at least in the way I classify them.

Like gestahr said, what the hell does job lvl have to do with anything? Maybe I should stop pl'ing people or helping people with Rank quests and stop having a life outside the game.

What lvl are you by the way? You never said nor does your profile show any info judging by looking at your info box next to your post. For all I know, you might be lvl 5WAR and lvl 75DIPSHIT. Just because you say that you are higher lvl, doesn't neccessarily mean that you are.

Did you stop and think for a second before you posted that the Will/panic for gil thing is a joke or did you just eat a BIG BOWL OF STUPID for breakfast? Playing a Taru, I am asked to panic a lot because a lot of people think its cute. Obviously the effect is lost on you as well as the humour. Go back to your AOL chatrooms and cry to them about how much of an asshole I am, you asshat.

O.o sorry but the panic part, but i have never saw any one level 40 + with that comment in their bazaar so i assumed Newb.. And theres no humor in making fun of people thats just being an ass hole. Yes i am crying in my AOL chatroom about how much an ass hole you are thats way i dont even have AOL... "You asshat" im so affended.

I only said i am a higher level to avoid those "newb flames" I'm sorry if you didnt get it right it just pissed me off to have to make fun of people because you are smarter than some one in what not. As for not seeing anyone lvl 40+ with my /panic comment in their bazaar, I ask you this...

WHO CARES?!?

This is what happens when you ASSUME.

First off, being lvl 40+ does not mean they lose their sense of humour once they get past lvl 39 nor does it mean that you've met every lvl 40+ out there. I know a good number of lvl 40 (and 50 and 60 etc) who ask me to do "the Taru dance" as well as knowing a good number of lvl 40+ Tarus that do it themselves.

Second, I never called you a liar and said that you weren't a higher lvl. I said how do I know its not something you are just saying?

It's not that I "didnt get it right". It is just that you, again, have no clue what you are talking about.
