Hehe, that was Semih Lafihna (think that's how you spell it). She annoys me because she's opposed to Ajido-Marujido (the most badass Taru in Vana'dielian history ). She's pretty though.

OOC: Actually, I'm wearing the Beetle set, it just looks exactly the same as the Bone set. Wilber is wearing the Chainmail set, which is lvl 24 (mine's 21).

Anyway, I have more pics ready for the next update, guys. I did mission 7 and got pics of the whole thing, so more spoilers (though maybe not as many as in this last one). I just have to write the next entry. However, it won't be up till tomorrow, 'cause I'm gonna be busy with IRL stuff today.

          • Hi again, everyone! Here's the update I promised: a chronicle of my 7th mission for Windurst (and a few bonus pics at the end ).

After being promoted to Rank 3 and becoming an official adventurer, I was eager to show my nation that they hadn't made a mistake in doing so. I wanted to take another mission, so I went to talk to Buuma, the head guard at Leviathan's Gate in Windurst Woods. She congratulated me on my recent promotion to Rank 3, and told me that she did indeed have another mission for me. This one, however, she said, was different from my previous missions in that I was to report to Semih Lafihna, the captain of the Sybil Guards, whom had directly asked for me. This was extremely unusual and quite an honor, Bumma explained, as Semih usually worked on her own if at all possible. Figuring this meant I had probably better not keep her waiting, I headed straight for Heavens Tower to meet her.

When I got to Heavens Tower, I went to talk to Kupipi, the slightly rude Tarutaru that gave me my last mission. She seemed doubtful that Semih Lafihna herself had called me, but gave in and gave me a key to the second floor of Heavens Tower after I gave her a cold glare. Upon ascending the staircase, I was amazed at the beauty of the scenery. I made idle chat with the Star Sybil's ladies-in-waiting, making sure to avoid Zubaba, the head lady-in-waiting, by suggestion from the others I had talked to. I then ascended another stairway, talking to the Sybil Guards. One by the name of Rhy Epocan called Semih Lafihna for me.

Just when it was starting to look like I had only been called here to be told to keep my mouth shut, Ajido-Marujido strode into the room. The nearby Sybil Guards rushed to stop him, saying that he was not permitted to be here, but he kept on walking as if they weren't even there, though the flashes of multi-colored light the brought the guards to their knees and immobilized them showed that he certainly had noticed them. He walked right up to Semih, who seemed outraged at the Taru's audacity.

I happened to agree with what he was saying, but wisely, I kept my mouth shut, wanting to keep Semih's trust. After he left, Semih turned to me, seemingly in thought.

I headed after Ajido-Marujido as per Semih's request, though I wasn't exactly planning to do what she had intended for me to, I'm sure. I was going to talk to Ajido-Marujido about what I had seen in the other nations, and offer to help him in any way I could, for I could see that our hope for a bright future lay in people like Ajido-Marujido, who were not afraid to take charge and change things. I lost track of him, though (he's one fast little Tarutaru! ), so I headed to the Orastery to see if anyone there knew where he had gone. I asked Hakkuru-Rinkuru, and he told me that the Minister had acted as if he were preparing for a long trip. Then, remembering which staff Ajido-Marujido had brought with him, he somehow came to the conclusion that Ajido-Marujido had headed off to Castle Oztroja, the Yagudo stronghold in the Meriphitaud Mountains. I wondered why he had headed off to such a dangerous place alone, though I had little doubt that he could take care of himself. Still, I couldn't help but be a little worried for him, so I headed off to see if he could use my help.

After renting a chocobo from the stables in Windurst Woods, I made the long trek to Castle Oztroja. I had never been there before, but I had asked around before leaving, and a Mithra who was selling maps in the port told me, and even sold me a magic map of the castle for 3,000 gil. Upon actually arriving at the castle, though, I was taken aback by the sheer size of it. Not surprisingly, it looked somewhat like a giant birds' nest. Here's a shot I took of myself standing in the entrance:

Since I knew that it would be impossible for me to make it through this place on my own (even with my superior skills of stealth ), I applied some Prism Powder and Silent Oil to myself, hiding me from the Yagudos' sight and hearing. I snuck through the castle, eventually finding a door. I fumbled with it for a moment, trying to get it open, but I soon realized that it would be impossible in my current state. I had to wipe off the Prism Powder and Silent Oil, but then I feared that one of the Yagudos nearby might see me and run to attack. After what seemed like forever but was probably only a few seconds, I decided to wipe of the powder and oil then hurry through the door. Hurriedly, I wiped it off and tried again to open the door, but it still wouldn't open! A nearby Yagudo saw me, and I panicked, trying the door again. The Yagudo started to cast a spell, but it turned out only to be a Diaga spell, and I finally managed to get the door open. I ran through, shoving it closed behind me. I can only assume the Yagudo did not wish to leave his post, because he didn't try to pursue me after that (much to my relief).

That problem averted, I leaned back against the door in relief, catching my breath that I hadn't realized until now I had been holding. I heard a voice address me, and realized that I had found Ajido-Marujido! He was leaning up against a wall, looking to be hurt, though not too seriously. He greeted me and asked what I was doing here, then went on without even giving me a chance to respond. He asked me if I followed him here out of worry, and I told him that indeed I had, but he didn't seem to believe me. I think that just because I'm a Mithra, he believed that I must be on Semih Lafihna's side. I was about to assure him that I was telling the truth, but he continued on as if he didn't care.

With that he walked out, seemingly not worried about the multitudes of Yagudo outside. Then again, I don't see why he would be. Even I could take them on one-on-one (given time to rest in between, anyway :p), and I'm nowhere near as strong as Ajido-Marujido. I decided to head back to Windurst too, and used a scroll of Instant Warp. I headed back to Heavens Tower and made my report to Semih Lafihna, who thanked and dismissed me.

Taking Semih's advice to rest, I headed back to my Mog House and laid down in bed. I wasn't really tired, so I just chatted with my linkshell for awhile. It was quite relaxing, and I hit it off with a new member named Kietalis. She's a Mithra thief, like me, though not as experienced. She was doing a mission in Shakhrami Maze at the time, so I decided to go help her. I made my way there by chocobo, but she contacted me right before I got there and said that she had been killed by a Ghoul and headed back to her home point in Mhaura. So I headed to the outpost in Buburimu and waited for her. She showed up shortly, and I must say, she is quite attractive. *giggleblush* We then went on to have some kinky adventures for the rest of the day. ;D

And that's all for this entry. Until next time, enjoy! ^^

Hiya everyone, omg I didnt know you made such a niffty jourrrna mistrrressl -giggles- It makes me strrrive to worrrk harderrr. -purrrs-

                  Yes like Kyrial I starrrted my adventures in Windurrrst when i was um gaining unwanted attention by males.... ;

(occ: which was of courrrse back in november by my birrrthday of 2003, but i seldom got to play and got up to level 12 while on mission 4 about xmas when I had to up and move away, I share my account with my bestest of pals... However since I am out here I need to get my own account, and then we can all play.)

The first night that I wanted to prove my motherrr i was good enough, heck I helped along the Star Onion Brrrigade in my youth. However I was verrry nervous and had never had to use a wepon beforrre and got lost all over town crying in a farrr estrrrean language of nippon. At that moment Sheena came and played, I quickly followed herrr and played with herrr all night, even did a mission with herrr myfirst night along with many quests. I didnt gain much in the way of knoledge as I was too paniced and watched her as she was way ahead of me at the time.

We had also met two Elvaan men who werrre caught in rapture at our collective beauty -giggles and wiggles tail- and one was named Star of the Elves our in his language Elessar. He was new to the lands of Windurrrst and even pledged his alliances to them (which he eventually broke)

Well this is turning to be a jourrrnal of my own lol.......

Days went on and Sheenaa's pc brrroke, Elessar became a grrreat friend and parrrtner and acts just As Wilberrr did for Kyrial.

He then met pye who both inducted us into hte Band Of the Hawk, but days laterrr I got sick and spent months in the mog house recoverrrring (occ as i had said this time i had moved from chicago to joliet and had no net or anything got back as of march 28 whilst visting friends in chicago for a week)

My linksheel told me they had moved on and I was upset, but I just wanderrred about and cooked meals for anyone who walked by and sang my songs in nipponese whilst doing so =^-^= -purrrs-

Wilberrr then takes a double take of me when I was at the fountain in WIndy woods, he then says take this, gives me a pearl of pye's new linkshell, i was ecstatic and purrred loudly.

The next night our ls discovered that there was morrre to this mithrrra then meets the eyes...

Along with that Kyrial came to help me when I was running out of the maze, which um didnt bode to well I am good at sneaking and doding but eventually got chased into a hall with a dead end with scorps across the pit and a ghoul with goblins waiting in their huts. I was safe for then, however a wight came screaming from behind and actually lept up frrrom out of the bottomless pit killing m in one blow....

Afterrr that mistresss Kyrial ran out of the cave and we linked up at bubu ^_~ I think we will be good frrriends from now on -giggles-

(occ but as i said i need a new account... so kietalis might not be playable anymore, unless you people know how to transfer a content id to a differant account, which i do not think is possiable.... sigh)

again sorry forrrr my mini jourrrnal here but lol it explains my meeting and devotion to mistress Kyrial ^_^ -blushes-

lol and one day I will be brave and go beyond selbina (the furhtest I have ever been, infact i only went to mhurah for the very first time the night before meeting kyrial at leavel 13)

                      • OOC: Sorry for the lack of updates, everyone. I've been playing a lot lately, it's just that all I've really been doing is leveling up. Nothing really to write about, you see. It was particularly fun last night; I was PTing with Difinity and Hawke (a guy from our LS) at Qufim, and got to lvl 24. On the bright side, soon Wilber says he's gonna help me and Difinity get the keys we need for our Kazham airship pass, so I should have pics of that sometime in the next few days. ^^

                        • OOC: Okay, so yeah. There haven't been any updates for awhile, as I'm sure you've noticed. Not that I haven't been playing or anything. Hoho, that couldn't be farther from the truth, really. If I remember correctly, I was lvl 22 last I updated. I'm lvl 25 now (well, 24 again 'cause I de-lvled, but I'll be 25 again in a few fights, believe you me; the lack of Flee already hurts :p). I have lots of pics to go through and prepare for the next journal, and I'm already well into doing just that. It shouldn't be too long before the next entry: tomorrow at the latest. I did get two of the keys for my airship pass so far (Giddeus and Ghelsba), but unfortunately FRAPs decided to be stupid and not save the pics I took in Giddeus (and that was my favorite time, too ). Well, anyway, off to go make that journal entry now. Thanks for your patience everyone. ^^

                          • After all this time, an update at last? Yes my loyal fans, your patience has been rewarded; your favorite Mithra is back! (*turns off arrogance*) Ahem... anyway... yeah, so like I said before, I've been doing a lot of training and not much else lately, and so I haven't had much to update with. However, I have finally managed to scrounge together enough for another entry, so here ya go...

OOC: First, pics of me reaching lvl 23 and 24 respectively:

For part of my training I was with Difinity and Hawke (a member of ColdFront, my linkshell), which was fun. One time while Difinity, I snapped a picture of her that I particularly like (if only I could've zoomed in more ) :

At one point, it got crowded where we were training, so we headed into Delkfutt's Tower to train by fighting Goblins. My group at this time was, by coincidence, composed entirely of girls, which was pretty cool. ^^

One time while I was waiting for a group to train with in Qufim, Nasya happened to pass by, and we talked for awhile. As you can see in the picture below, she got her whole set of artifact armor:

In between training sessions in Qufim, I headed back to Windurst for awhile, whereupon I took my next mission for Windurst. I had to talk to Lady Zubaba, the head lady-in-waiting for the Star Sybil. The old crone just loves to complain and yell at people, so of course she found something to take out on me, too. >_>

After Zubaba finished briefing me on my mission, I chatted a bit with some of the ladies-in-waiting, one of whom mentioned a legend that she had heard about the tower I was going to be heading to for the mission. It told of a gate that could only be passed by three mages, which I assume meant I needed some mages with me when I went to the tower. Since I didn't feel like finding anyone to help me at the moment, I decided to go relax for awhile with a bit of fishing. Oh sure, I felt bad for the Star Sybil, but I knew that my hurrying this mission wouldn't do anything to help her recover, dispite what Zubaba seemed to believe. While I was at my usual fishing spot, it eventually came to be dominated by my linkshell. We were thinking of putting up a sign saying "ColdFront owns this fishing hole!", but decided against it. XD

The next day, my black mage friend Ryio asked me to help him with a mission. We went about it with few problems, and at one point when we were leaving Shakhrami Maze, he decided to be a smart ass and said "Race you home!" and cast Warp. >_> So, to get him back, I told him I'd race him to the eastern tower of the Horutoto ruins, which was where we had to go next. He accepted, and I quickly ran to the Crag of Mea and rented a chocobo, riding the rest of the way to the tower. I got there a few minutes before him, and waited on my chocobo on top of the entrance. You can see him as he showed up if you look closely:

After more training in Qufim, I noticed that the monsters there were getting a little too easy, and decided that I needed to head somewhere more dangerous for training. Everyone I know said that Yuhtunga Jungle would be ideal for me, and so I decided to work on getting myself an airship pass to Kazham. I talked to a Galka at the travel agency in Jeuno, and he told me that they had an "adventurer's deal" which consisted of bringing him three keys: one from Giddeus, one from Fort Ghelsba, and one from the Palborough Mines. Wilber said he'd help Difinity and I get the keys, and so together we headed deep into Giddeus to fight Yagudo Votaries, Theologists, and Priests, as they held the keys we needed. After several fights, we finally found two keys, and headed back to Windurst. I admit that probably doesn't sound very fun, but being with Difinity and Wilber, it was a very fun time. Difinity and Wilber were singing the whole way, which was entertaining to say the least, and we weren't exactly in grave danger in this Yagudo nest with the three of us there.

The next day, Wilber asked me if I wanted to join him in helping Komeu, Ryio, and Frostmourne with a diplomatic mission they were on in San d'Oria. I, of course, agreed, and we rented chocobos and rode off to Mhaura, where we bought tickets to Selbina. Here's a pic of us sitting together in the cargo hold waiting for the boat to leave port:

Upon reach Selbina, we headed out into the Valkurm Dunes, where we met up with Komeu, Frostmourne, and Ryio. They got off their chocobos (well, Komeu and Frosty did; Ryio is a lazy little bastard and rode the rest of the way to San d'Oria, leaving us behind >), and we walked the rest of the way to San d'Oria. (OOC: There was HORRIBLE lag in Valkurm while we were there; it was almost as if we were walking instead of running :dead: ) Once we got there, Wilber and I decided to sit down and wait for them, since they had to go talk to the Windurstian Consulate and an official in Cheateau d'Oraguille.

They met up with us after they had finished their business, and we headed out to Ft. Ghelsba to investigate some issue involving the Orcs. Along the way, we found a Ghelsba Key on one of the Orc Fighters we killed, which the group decided to let me keep (yay, only one more to go! ^^). After Komeu, Frosty, and Ryio finished what they came there to do (OOC: which was to fight the Dread Dragon, whom we beat easily ), Wilber and I headed back to Windurst while Komeu and the others headed to San d'Oria to report to the Windurstian consulate there. After arriving home, I decided to do a little fishing. Again ColdFront was dominating the fishing hole. XD From left to right, the people pictured are Wagoose, Wilber, yours truly, Hawke, and Iamtrini:

OOC: And that's all for this entry. BUT, I'm gonna post some of Kyrie's backstory in the next entry, and I've decided that pics relating to my mule, Jurinrin, will be put in a seperate, much less-frequently updated journal, as she's becoming more and more of a real character instead of just a tool to get me extra storage space. :p So look forward to seeing that soon, too. Until then, enjoy! ^^

In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me?
Was it fate that brought us close and now leaves me behind?

                              • OOC: Well, I've been trying to put together a detailed backstory for Kyrie for the past few days, but I just couldn't come up with many details, so I'm just gonna give you guys the basic outline.

Kyrie's mother was a Mithra who grew up in Kazham. When she was about 18, she met a Hume from Norg, and eventually fell in love with him. They got married in Kazham, but moved to Norg shortly after. They had Kyrie about a year or two later, and about a year after that, the Great War broke out. Kyrie's parents were part of a mercenary group based in Norg, and were hired to fight for Windurst when they were being overrun by the beastmen.

While they were there, they left Kyrie with an old Tarutaru named Haruto-Maruto, who was taking care of the children of several soldiers who were fighting in the war. During one of the major battles, both of Kyrie's parents were killed, as were the parents of many of the other children being watched by the kindly old Taru. Feeling responsibility to the deceased parents who fought for Windurst, he continued to raise the children.

It was here that Kyrie met Jurinrin, a young Tarutaru girl who was also being raised by Haruto-Maruto. Jurinrin was his granddaughter, but her parents were killed in one of the later battles of the war. Jurinrin always looked up to Kyrie as a big sister, even though she was actually a little older than her. However, when Kyrie was about 12, Haruto-Maruto passed away, and the children were all left to fend for themselves. Kyrie and Jurinrin were seperated at this time, and didn't meet up again until recently. While Jurinrin found a nice home working at a hospital in Windurst Waters, Kyrie wasn't quite as lucky, and ended up stealing to survive. She did, however, make a couple of friends who were in similar situations to her, and though she was forced into a life of crime, she was happy.

A few years later, though, Kyrie and her friends bit off more than they could chew. They were following a caravan through Sarutabaruta one night, planning to steal some of the supplies it carried. However, a group of Yagudos waylaid the caravan, and began killing the people in it. Kyrie and her friends rushed to help (for though they were thieves, they still valued life very highly), hoping to scare off the Yagudo, and even took a few of the birds down in the initial surprise. However, as soon as the Yagudo realized what was happening, they quickly laid waste to the band of thieves, killing all but Kyrie, who managed to hide her wounded body underneath one of the caravan's wagons. Eventually the beastmen left, and Kyrie, bruised and broken, struggled back to Windurst. She vowed to one day avenge her friends, and became an adventurer to get back at the beastmen for all they had taken from her. And now we reach the point where my journal started. Hope you enjoyed Kyrie's backstory! ^^
