Hee hee. Well, actually, Wilber is more expensive than me. :p I mean, he just recently bought himself a sword for 15k gil. o_O But hey, I tell him not to spend money on me. He does it anyway.

Sorry Bagel, I forgot to ask him last night. I'll ask tonight, or if he's not on, I'll get you one myself. I'm sure I have some money.

I upload the pictures to my free image host (www.photobucket.com), then use the [IMG] tag to put them in the post. And I'm glad I saw this now; I'll go ask Wilber right now if he can get a WP for you. I can't get on 'til tomorrow after school, but it's earlier where he lives. ^^
Got a lot of fighting done last night. ^^ Met up with a BLM by the name of Zydrel in the Shakhrami Maze. We fought a Maze Maker or two, but the last one killed him and nearly took me out too, so I ran away. I met him back at the entrance to the Maze, and I found us two more PT members: a WAR by the name of Blazeoffury and a WHM named Enlenne. We met up, and then made our way to the Buburimu Penninsula for more fighting.
We fought some Mighty Rarabs for awhile, since I wanted a Mighty Rarab Tail as a part of my subjob quest, and a few Goblins that ambushed us (I swear, Goblin Ambushers hate me; they're always sneaking up behind me when I'm in a PT and attacking me ). After awhile of getting no Mighty Rarab Tails, we decided to give up for now and go fight some Snippers. It was fun for awhile, but then a Goblin snuck up on Zydrel and killed him again. (I think he must've died like 4 times over the course of our PTing together... maybe I'm bad luck ) After that, we met up with a Red Mage named Pimpninny at the entrance to Mhuara. Zydrel had to go though. I don't blame him; he just kept getting killed.
We met up with some other adventurers, particularly a Tarutaru WHM and a Mithra MNK, and we fought Bull Dhalmels for awhile. (OOC: I reached lvl 17 after one of the fights! ) Then we went to rest near the entrance to Mhaura for awhile.
Around this time, I decided I'd had enough for the night, thanked my PT members for their help, and headed back to Windurst. Outside the town, I met up with Wilber, who had just gotten some ninjutsu scrolls and was showing them off. He came with me into town, and we met up with none other than Bagel, who joined our linkshell, ColdFront. Welcome, Bagel!
And that's all for this post. Until next time, enjoy! ^^
(OOC: Forgot to turn on FRAPS before playing, so I had to use the normal method of getting screenshots. )
I finally decided to go to San d'Oria yesterday. I'd been wanting to travel the world for awhile, and I finally got started. When I got to Mhaura, the boat was in town, so I ran like mad to the doc, hoping to get on before it left, I hurriedly bought a ticket, only to have the ship depart just as I reached the pier! So I had to wait 6 hours for another one to come in. And to make it worse, I forgot to bring my fishing rod, so I had nothing to do to pass the time. After what seemed like forever, the next ship finally got there.
The ride was pretty uneventful. I was one of three people on the boat. The other two were an incredibly powerful old male Elvaan Monk and a female Elvaan Red Mage. They both stayed on deck and fished, and the strongest monster that came on deck was a Sea Monk (this was the first time I saw one, btw). The Sea Monk did attack the Red Mage, but she ran into the cabin, and the Monk followed her in and killed the octopus quickly, saving her.
Anyway, after arriving in Selbina, I immediately headed out into the Valkurm Dunes and made my way to the La Theine Plateau. I made it there with no problem, and was somewhat surprised by the weakness of the monsters there. The San d'Orians have it easy; the monsters in Tahrongi Canyon are much stronger. :p The scenery, though, was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics. I'll have to make sure and get some on my way back to Windurst.
Eventually, I made it to Ronfaure, and once again, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. This time, at least, I got a pic.
I made my way to San d'Oria, and was amazed at how different it was from Windurst. It was huge, but so... grey. Considering all the beautiful scenery surrounding it, I would've expected it to be prettier than it was. And most of the Elvaans there were a bunch of racist pigs, especially the old ones. The only truely nice adult Elvaan I saw while there was Sir Balasiel, whom I heard was a Paladin hero back in the war 20 years ago. He happened to be walking by two brothers who were in the midst of an arguement, and he settled it for them, telling them how petty their little quibble was compared to the conflicts with the beastmen.
A bit after that, I saw a little Elvaan boy crying in the middle of the square in Northern San d'Oria, and went to ask him what was wrong. He tod me that he had lost his father. I told him I would find his father for him, and set off to just that. As it turns out, he was in an weapon shop in Southern San d'Oria. I told him about his son, and he told me to tell his son to stay where he was, and that he'd be along shortly. I went back to tell the boy, and just after I did, his father showed up and started yelling at him for crying and running to a stranger for help, calling him a weak disgrace! I was about ready to smack him, but I restrained myself. The man then turned to me and thanked me for my help, offering me a fishing rod in return. The boy looked shocked, and exclaimed that that was his fishing rod, and begged his father not to give it away. The father yelled at him not to whine about it and grow up, then walked off. Glaring at his back for a moment, I turned to the boy and gave him back his fishing pole. He immediately brightened up, thanking me and telling me not to think too poorly of his father, that he was nice sometimes. I somehow doubted that, but I merely nodded and left.
Later, when I was out looking for a man in West Ronfaure, I decided to try on a Robe that someone had given me for helping them, just to see what it would look like on me. I think it looks quite nice, don't you think?
I found a small campsite soon after, and sat down to take a rest.
Later, when I went back to town, I visited the tanning guild, and found this person using a darkness crystal for synthesis. It looked cool, so I took a pic.
Well, that's all for now. More tonight or tomorrow; for now, enjoy!
OOC: Thanks everyone, as always, for your nice comments. ^^ I have more pics to update with, but sadly, I got kicked off my computer by my family last night and was not able to get the pics on a disc or anything, so you'll all have to wait till I get home from school to see them. So until then, I leave you with a little Auto-Translate perversion. {Mithra} in {Subligar}, {I have stuff to do, gotta go!}.
OOC: Well, it appears that FRAPS was not working last time I played, so all the screenshots I thought I had taken don't exist. I'm going back on right now, and FRAPS is working now, so I'll try and get some more screens this time.
