OOC: Thanks everyone! I just got back on the game last night, and met up with my new linkshell (my old one had switched to this one while I was away). I took a few screenshots, but they were just of scenery in Windurst (oh, and one of Wilber; hes a lvl 30/13 THF/NIN now). I have to say, they're a lot better than the ones I had been taking so far, though. I got fraps, and I'm running the game at a higher resolution than before, so they will look much better from now on, methinks. For anyone who wants to know, my current settings are:

MIP Mapping: Off
Overlay Graphics Resolution: 1024x768
Background Resolution: 1024x1024
Texture Compression: Uncompressed
On-screen Maps: Uncompressed
Bump Mapping: Off
Environmental Animation: Smooth

It runs fine on my computer, only lags a little, like when there's a lot going on on-screen <cough>Auction House</cough>. Oh, and my computer's specs are:

Pentium 4, 2.53 GHz
512 MB RAM
GeForce4 MX 440, 128 MB

I'm probably gonna be on a lot tonight, so I'll try and get more screenshots. I'm sneaking to Jeuno tonight.

OOC: Okay, so I tried to sneak to Jeuno earlier. I switched jobs to a lvl 1 WAR so that if I died on the way, I wouldn't lose exp. Here's a shot I took at the Meriphitaud Mountains.



It was pretty easy to sneak through there. Then I got to Sauromugue Champaign. That was harder, but not too challenging. That is, until I started getting really close to Jeuno. Then there were a bunch of mobs all around me. I managed to hide, but stupidly, I allowed myself to get distracted talking to people on my linkshell. A Goblin Smithy snuck up on me and murdered me brutally in one hit. :dead: I was so close...



So I went back to my home point at Meriphitaud Mountains and made my way back home. Here's a pic of me almost back at Windurst:



I'll shrink these pics later, when I have access to Photoshop (this computer doesn't have it : /). (EDIT: They are shrunken now, as you can see.)

I'll see what I can do. Wilber says he makes about 4k an hour (a world pass is only just over 1k), and he seems to love buying me things, so he can probably be talked into getting you one. ^^

Anyway guys, I'm working on shrinking those last pics I posted right now, along with the new ones I took last night. They're great! They should be up soon. ^^
