This is me with a party Wilber put together completely of Thieves (I invited Hurone, my Red Mage friend, though) fighting a Wild Dhalmel at Tahrongi Canyon. Though you can't see her in this pic, this was the party I met my friend Nasya in. She's a really knowledgeable Mithra Thief (OOC: At least, last I was on. I haven't been on in at least a month because of an unreliable internet connection at home ). This was my first time fighting a Dhalmel... they're huge. o.o
And here we are waiting for someone's raise sickness to wear off. The Dhalmel killed one of us (I don't remember who... ), but we managed to find a White Mage to revive them. While we were sitting here, Wilber grabbed my tail, so I smacked him. Then a little later, Nasya did, too. She just did it jokingly though, and was careful enough not to hurt me, so I just let her off with a warning. Wilber, though, thought it was unfair that I smacked him and not her, so I told him he wouldn't understand, 'cause he's not a Mithra. That seemed to satisfy him. Ha, sucker. :p
This is the White Mage that revived our fallen friends and, since he was so nice, cast spells like Haste, Shell, and Protect on us, too. He spoke the language of the Far Eastern lands, but luckily, Nasya and I knew a little bit of it, and were able to communicate with him.
This the small alliance I was with when taking on the first part of my fourth mission for Windurst. I had to find a special stone deep within the Shakhrami Maze in Tahrongi Canyon. The Elvaan Dark Knight whose name you can't see in this picture is Thisismyname. He was our guide on this mission, taking us to where the stone we need was to be found, and telling us which monsters to watch out for. Lildiva is the Tarutaru White Mage sitting down next to Thisismyname; she's a friend of Nasya's. Zilea is a White Mage that Nasya and I met in a previous party. Thilu is a Warrior we picked up along the way. And Cheeb is the incredibly cute Tarutaru Black Mage standing next to me. He was dancing for us when we got the stone we needed.
Here's me, Eoriyn, and Ione fighting a Goblin Tinkerer at Tahrongi Canyon. Eoriyn is a Thief/Warrior, and Ione is a Warrior. I mastered the art of the Sneak Attack while fighting with them! It is very useful, especially in parties when fighting things like Dhalmels and Maze Makers. I've even had Warriors say they were gonna consider becoming Thieves after seeing the damage I do with a Sneak Attack/Combo.
Here I am in Windurst at the magic class on top of the Aurastery, pretending I'm a student. XD Unfortunately, Kirarara, the teacher, got mad at me and told me to leave. Oh well, I had already helped out Mashuu-Ajuu with his horticultural assignment and gotten a stationary set as a reward. :p
I'm on Quetzalcoatl as well, didn't realise what server you were on untill I saw Nasya in there, I see her running around quite a bit, haven't run into you yet, but I'm sure I will eventually.
Ever seen Mattimeo? I might not have even been in Windurst since you started.
OOC: Yeah, that's cause Nasya is much higher lvl than me. I haven't been on in a long time, because of screwy internet at home and crappy computers that can't run FFXI at school. The farthest out into the world that I've ventured was one time when I went to Selbina. I couldn't find a PT there though, so I went back home to Windurst. If all goes well, though, I should be back on Friday night or Saturday morning. ^^ Oh, and no, I haven't seen Mattimeo, at least, not to my knowledge. Remember, it has been at least a month since I've been on. But hey, have you seen Wilber or Difinity? I miss them.
OOC: Ah, cool. I'm gonna have to get him to throw a welcome back party for me this weekend. Difinity is his cousin; she's a Hume female Red Mage/White Mage, ~lvl 23/6, I think. *sigh* She got so much further than me in my absence. I was the one who bought her her WP, back when I was lvl 11. Guess she's still hanging around Windurst. Well, thanks for the info.
