Here I am trying out the new Brass Dagger that Wilber gave me. I could barely tell the difference, but I'm thinking maybe that's a good thing, 'cause I wouldn't wanna have to learn the intricacies of a completely new weapon, you know? Daggers and hand-to-hand are enough for me, thanks. :p

This is a close-up shot of me at the South Auction House in Windurst. This place is always really crowded. o.o But the auction houses are an adventurer's best friend. The vast majority of one's money will invariably be spent here, whether for buying equipment, furniture for your house, items for use in crafting items using crystal synthesis, or even food. Chances are, if you want it, it's at the Auction House. Of course, it's not only for buying things. The very way the Auction House works is that you're buying things that other adventurers are selling there. Therefore, it also happens to be where we adventurers make most of our money.

Here I'm trying on the Windshear Hat I got for doing a little advertising campaign of sorts for Baren-Moren's Hat Shop. I don't particularly like how it looks on me... what do you think? Maybe if I was a mage it would look better, since it would most likely match better with the rest of my outfit. *shrug* I got rid of it anyway, because it wasn't as good as my Compound Eye Circlet. :p

Here I am sitting in the square in Windurst Woods (home of the Windurstian Mithra! ^^), having some girl talk with my friend Difinity. She's Wilber's cousin, and a new adventurer. As you can see, she's a Black Mage. (note: she's now a Red Mage/White Mage) She's lucky to have friends like me and Wilber from the time she started out as an adventurer; we bought her a bunch of nice equipment and spells, since the beginner stuff is all so cheap for us.

And this is after I bought a pair of Gloves, a pair of Brais, and a pair of Gaiters to go with my Doublet. Ah, now I'm finally all covered up! Take that, perverts! Maybe it's just because I'm a girl, but I get all excited and happy whenever I get new clothes. :sweat: Anyway, you may notice in the last few pictures that I have claw weapons attached to my hips. That's 'cause I decided to work on my hand-to-hand skills alongside my dagger skills. Hand-to-hand is quite a powerful combat method, and if I were better at it, I think it'd be even better than my dagger. That's why I decided to get into it.

This absolutely adorable little kitten is Ojha Rhawash. She loves flowers, and she taught me a bit about how to garden in my Mog House. As thanks, I bought her a lilac at the Auction House. You should have seen her face when I gave her that flower. She had to have been the happiest little kitten I've seen in my entire life. She got all excited, saying how lilacs are her favorite flower in the whole world. Then she told me that she was going to tell me a secret. I bent over so she could whisper it into my ear, and she told me all about the back streets of Windurst, and how I could use them as shortcuts when navigating through the town. Now, if you've ever been to Windurst, you'll know that these shortcuts are incredibly useful (it's such a BIG town o.o).

This is a pic of the infamous Cat Burglar, Nanaa Mihgo. I had a bad first impression of her, since she tried to trick me out of some gil when I first started out as an adventurer. That impression lasted for awhile, and it led me to help the Star Onion Brigade (an incredibly cute group of Tarutaru and Mithra children bent on justice) to foil a plan of hers, which led to some funny results. My bad impression of her only intesified when she tricked me into going alone into her lair deep in the Inner Horutoto Ruins in Sarutabaruta, then tried to steal all my money and equipment. Just as I was about to give her a piece of my mind, though, three Ace Cardians broke in and started demanding that she give them back something she apparently had stolen from them. Things were looking bad, as I was pretty sure that even with me, Nanaa, and her two henchmen, we would be pretty outmatched by these war machines gone crazy. Then, all the sudden, out of nowhere, one of them exploded in a burst of magical fire! Then Ajido-Marujido, the Minister of Magic in Windurst, showed himself, explaining where that incredibly powerful fire spell had come from. He threatened Nanaa to give him the object that the Cardians had wanted (which happened to be a magical book from the archives in Windurst's Manustery), and Nanaa, knowing she really had no choice, gave it over. After checking out the situation in Windurst, I decided that I'd go to Nanaa's house and give her that piece of mind I'd meant to earlier, before the Cardians had interrupted us. However, when I got there, she apologized to me, saying that she was just making a little mischief, and that it was all just fun and games; that she never would have tried to hurt me. Knowing that I had done similar things before, I decided to forgive her, and now we're actually friends, in a way. I stop by her house every one in awhile to give her Yagudo Necklaces that I get off of Yagudos I end up having to kill when I wander the world, going about my business. She apparently gets good prices for them through her black market connections, and she gives me a share of the profits. So I guess we're more like business associates, but whatever. :p Oh, and if you're wondering why it looks like she has four ears in this picture, it's because I was standing right behind her when this was taken. :sweat:

This the the left side of my room, with a Bronze Bed and a painting called 'Ancient Blood.' I bought the bed at the auction house for relatively cheap (about 4000 gil, I think). The painting was actually the first piece of furniture I got. A Hume women named Angelica who was staying at the Rarab Tail Hostelry asked me to pose for her in my Leather Vest, and she painted this. How she got that from me posing, I have no idea, but whatever. I suppose I'll never understand abstract art. :confused: It was free though, and beggars can't be choosers. :p

This is the middle of my room, with my table (I forget whether it was oak or maple), the stationary set a little Tarutaru boy gave me for helping him with his horticultural assignment, a flower stand, and a flower pot with some kinda seeds growing in it (can't remember which ones I planted; I have three different types of plants: grain, vegetable, and herb). I think the flower pot is ceramic, but I'm not 100% sure.

This is the right side of my room, with a chest (I believe the people at the auction house said it was a Tarutaru chest, but if that were the case, wouldn't it be smaller? This chest is bigger than any Tarutaru I've ever seen...) and two earthenware flower pots with different kinds of plants growing in them.

Here I am at the Sailor Stay, an inn in Mhaura, wearing my new Scentless Armlets. Much more comfortable than my old Gloves, and better defense, too.
