I should of posted this a longg time ago... it goes all the way back to beta... hehe but here goes... sorrie for no pic's by the way it was the begining of beta, we were all noobs..
So the story of Sano starts off on a rainy day of the first week of Beta... I had seen my bro playing it (ffxi) alot, and i finally bugged him enough to let me try it out... Final Fantasy XI is the first mmorp i have ever touched... when i first started off, walking out of my mog house in sandoria, as my bro switched his job from a mnk to warrior... my jaw dropped, and i was amazed..
I first enterened West Ronfaure with determination to make somehting of myself. A little bit of time passed and bam! i was lvl 7! I went back to sandoria, and got my new armor (with my bro's gill : )
When i entered West ron. again, a player named Ryoki /tell'ed me... I'm screaming to my bro from the basement "Someone's talking to me what do i do, what do i do!?" He told me to type /tell ryoki and talk to her. It end's up there was more than one nation! there was Bastok, and Windhurst! My bro started in Bastok, then came to Sandoria! Ryoki was going to lead him back to Bastok, but he said if i dont' do the trip, i couldn't play anymore.....
So the adventure began, i meeted ryoki somewhere in West Ron, i just did <pos> and she came to me... We first went through La'thien, as my lil lvl 7 ass got aggro'ed by everything, and her kool polearm wielding murdered everything.. We travled through La'thien Plataue with lil to no trouble... But then we hit Valkrum Dunes and things started to get bad...
As we traveled through, it was night time, and there were ghoul's and gob's everywhere. When we got to the tunnel there was a gob that attacked me! 1 more hit and i would of been ko'ed, Ryoki busted out her 2 hour (mighty strikes) and killed the gob, which was tough to her at lvl 17, with less than 12 hp left..
After that fight, we decided to be more careful... We eventually got out of Valkrum, got attacked by the giant ram thing in Highlands (zoned it).. In North gat Ryoki said "your almost home" i started to get more excited, and then a few min's later, i was looking at the gate to the entrance of Bastok. I followed her in, she showed me the mog house, home point, ah, everything.... I knew that at that point i'd never want to go back to sandoria, with those rude elf's... (but i had not even seen a tarutaru yet, or one doing /panic)
The reason i love Final Fantasy XI so much is because the first thing that i did in it was go through almost all of the begining area's, and all of the people in it are so nice it's like you got friends in the game..... ffxi opened my eye's to a different type of video games... and this will probably be the last game i ever play.
