Dragon Quest the beginning!!

i just finished the dragoon quest myself last night and i must admit.. this is the best and most epic quest in the entire game

edit: btw the story translated changed a bit.. in the us story.. there are two dragons.. as always.. good and evil.. slowly but surely.. the true pure "divine" holy dragons became rarer and rarer.. to the point where they became 'extinct'

that is where Cyranuce comes into play.. I lost a bit of the story due to memory now but whatever happened.. he got tainted by evil dragon blood or whatnot and because of this.. has grown evil-er and is also the reason no real holy dragon is born anymore.. only evil

dragon knights became extinct because the elves themselves KILL the dragons because they're the "evil" kind.. until Cyranuce himself falls.. basically Rahal and Cyranuce were friends (unclear to me if cyranuce was rahal's personal dragon).. the entire quest can be summed up thusly: "Save Cyranuce"

Rahal doesn't hunt him to kill him.. he hunts him to save his friend.. when you finally beat cyranuce.. and in that one screenshot where Rahal kneels by him.. Rahal offers to cure him by using the dragon essence/potion he has brought with him but Cyranuce's final words were something along the lines of "No my friend.. thank you.. I have suffered long enough.. I will always remember you"

. ) then he dies, and the baby dragon comes back.. which Rahal then turns around and *wanted* to kill because all dragons are evil.. until yours glows and is proven to be a real true holy dragon (they came back thanks to you!)

thus, dragon knights are reborn . )

i agree 100% in everything you've written, during my time in the beta.. this has got to be the most epic quest.. story.. cutscenes (good lord the cutscenes!), music..

it's a *must* to-do . )

I know that you can do the Dragoon quest at level 30 but will it be alright if I do it with 6 ~lvl 30 members since you had a lvl 60 when you did yours =P. Thanks

hehe I translated roughly whatI could from the quest and yap it slightly differs in japan , but are the same in most respects.
Of all the jobs this oen is special, Ionly wishnow that the rdm had a quest also , wonder how that would have turned out.
