  • *FILE* Fusion

So, I know how to do DAT Fusions, and it looks great.. but now I want to know how to fuse the FILES together, so when I do "DAT > MQO" in model viewer there is only one set of files instead of 3 seperate sets.

    (Ok sounds confusing, so what I mean is when I DAT>MQO say I name it "test", when I look in the file I have "test0.bmp""test0.dds" "test1.bmp" "test1.dds" "test2.bmp" "test2.dds" "test.mcd" "test.mqo"

Instead of having three seperate .BMP files, I want just one .BMP file.

How do I do this? I'm using VRS btw.

I don't think that is possible.

As I've understood it, the texture files have a size limit (which I think might be possible to change in hexeditor or something), which is why they are sometimes more than 1. They are different ones from different parts of the actual model object.

They go back into the same .dat in the end anyway, so I'm not sure why you want to merge them.

      Hallihallo daftaikou

The sepearation of the DAT-Tree(= more *.bmp when extracted with the viewer)
has something to do how the header in VRS is named at the end :
      <NONE-HIDE0-IVNO><SBOTH> or <NONE-HIDE0-IVHA><Hand-SBOTH-H2HAND> for example.

A talented modder somwhere explained how it works but I never found the
thread/forum myself where he posted his guide to these names. I only read about it. :/

      Nice Day
