  • Shouldn't this be simple?

I have been recently introduced to 3D Max, Metaseq, and the FFXI Model Viewer. I have the free version of each, and all i would like to do is create a tag for myself with my tarutaru blm, a colorful background, and my name, and I can't seem to get passed creating my char. in model viewer. I have been able to import it into Metaseq but nothing there after. I also have no idea how I can stop looking at this wired char. in Metaseq, and I of course am having the trouble getting the image from Metaseq to 3D Max. Is there a simpler program to use or do I just not know enough about this. lol

I think this plug in was made for Max 7. I use it with Max8 and it works. I'm not sure what version is your free Max but give it a shot.

Put it in your Autodesk\3dsMax8\plugins folder. Then you should be able to import .mqo files straight into Max.

.MQO is the format you get when you export models from model viewer by the way.
