  • 3D Rendering Overlap Issue

I've noticed multiple times that when I render a few taru models, the body piece and the leg piece would overlap. Since I'm not very proficient with 3d studio max, I was wondering if there are any ways to resolve or bypass this issue.

Here's a screenshot of what I am talking about:

Thanks for the help in advanced.

you could move the vertices around manually.
do they export out of model viewer overlapping like that btw?

      Hallihallo JinMaster

This is can only be solved by editing the motion part of the Tarutarus/or any other race in general.
SE has a quite few battle motions where normal armor overlaps with the legs.

        Thanks for the quick response.

Jei: If I wish to edit the vertices, would I be doing this in Metaseq or 3d Studio Max? And yes the model viewer do export the model with overlaps.

Nomido: For this particular model and armour, I couldn't find the appropriate battle motion that I want without the overlap.

          Hallihallo

Motions are gender/race specific and middle/side armor specific.
No motion is made for one armor. They are made for one armor type.

I am guessing this stance was made from a weaponskill motion.
All the Hand-to-Hand Weaponskills don't use the Armor probably and so these
ugly clipping things happen. To get rid of it you have to edit ALL weapon skill
armor part motions. <--- Muchmuchmuch work >_<'

By the way, ALL weaponskills have no armor motions. Maybe because you
usally use them in battle and they look so fast that you normally don't see the
          clipping

Files to find the motions for Hand-to-Hand WS in:
          84-36,Hand: Combo
          84-37,Hand: Shoulder Tackle
          84-38,Hand: One Inch Punch
          84-39,Hand: BackHand Blow
          84-40,Hand: Raging Fists
          84-41,Hand: Spinning Attack
          84-42,Hand: Howling Fist
          105-8,Hand: Dragon Kick
          105-9,Hand: Asuran Fists
          141-10,Hand: Final Heaven

I generally fix all overlap/clipping issues in Meta. Just manually drag the verteces around until it looks natural.
