So, after some .dat hacking, I found out I randomly could not enter FFXI. After some research, I found out that my female hume model looks like the painting "Scream". I think it may have had something to do with some random emote that I gave to female hume. Well, I kind of can't play without female humes loading correctly, so I'm confused as to what to do. Can anyone offer any advice?

also, an easier way to find what your missing without reinstalling and staring at ffxi patching for hours... load model viewer and go through emotes/armours/wepaons see if anything showsup missing or jsut isn't moving. "Usuauly" it will notify you or atleats hint to you that your missing something which would be alot faster fix then 2-4+ hours watching FFXI do "File check" or even a complete reinstall.Comment

Go through the other ways first before a complete re-install, I had to do one when my HD screwed up to give you an idea I worked out download size and time taken to install, so read this thread before going the full re-install route.

I did this with mithra, and this is why I didn't know what to do. It didn't occure to me to check female hume, since I hardly ever .dat edit them. But lo and behold, it was female hume that gave me the problem (a rather noticable one at that). A quite file rename and I fixed everything.
