  • 3d Studio Rendering Issues

Ok I seem to be running into a problem with rendering models in 3d Studio. I saved all my alpha maps in Graphic Converter 3, and apply them in Metaseq. After saving the new model and opening it in 3d studio, the entire head section became transparent.

If I remove the alpha layer in Metaseq and resave the model, the head section becomes solid again. Unfortunately, the hair looks considerably more blocky than what's displayed in game and in the model viewer. Is there anyway to make the head section solid in 3d studio?

    Many thanks in advanced.

For some odd reason I always get bad alpha maps from GC3 for that model of male Taru and one model of female Taru. You have to adjust the alpha map iteself, but it's pretty easy. Open it up in Photoshop or Paint or whatever you use, use the solid fill tool to make the gray areas white and the near-black areas fully black. Save, go back into Meta, then re-Import into 3DS, and it should be fine then.
