Help with fomors ; ;

I'm trying to make some custom Shade/Fomor/Hydra type mobs, but i'm having several issues:

There are only shade(the ones from Fei'Yin) .dats in model viewer

Trying to alter these skins like a PC just changes the skin, not armor...

can anyone please help me out? How do you edit fomors? ; ;
