Just out of curiousity here, how does WS help you get NMs?

Does the list fill up in some kind of "last spawned" order or something?

Re: Changing NPC and Monster Names - A guide.

Each NM is said to be a lottery spawn off all the xxxx monsters in area (Y-Z). That isn't true, what happens is each NM is a lottery spawn off of ONE monster, sometimes two in the case of Leaping Lizzy, and the others are irrelevant, no matter how many times you kill them. With widescan, you can use the pattern they show up in(They always show up in the same order, only effected by others being dead) to determine which ones are the phaceholder(s). What I had here would let people change the name of the placeholdewrs so they would always know which one it is, reguardless of WS and dead monsters. Not thats that what I intended it for, just something that you could do with it.

Yes, pretty much this. You can also track the PH's because their spawn rate is actually slightly faster then the rest. I didn't realize that LL had two PHs that would account for the anomaly I would constantly have with it that would drop my success on that NM.

It's the same with ones like Argus and that Leech (Forgetting it's name) someone clearing out the room of leeches and someone clearing out the bats. You'll see either a leech or a bat that seems to spawn faster then the rest, that's the placeholder if it's a leech PH then the leech NM usually is the one to spawn. If it's a bat then it's usually been Argus for me.
