Is there any way this program could maybe extract the actual character creation models? They have images, but not the models, sadly. ; ;

I can't get it to work, the .ini is pointing at the right directory, I'm sure of it. I can hear sounds for music, effects, spells, etc, but I can't see anything... ever

Download the Latest DirectX, Download AltanaView v0.3a And Delete your Ini. Try those things first.

Damn eveytime i try downloading the english version thing i just get a paint file... what am i doing wrong?

check your Browsers file associations list, it is a .rar I believe which may just load into a window as code. You can try right-clicking and selecting "save target as..." or "download linked file" what ever that browser says.

Don't mean to bump an old thread, but on MMXO shows, under an AltanaView thread, that they can see the character creation models (not just this pics). As anyone found a way to do this, or are the images on the website misleading?

The only thing I ever seen was static image of the char cration model's faces.

I'm guessing its the mithra pic with the purple sky maybe... that lead you to that?
That pics been around awhile... theres some way to load those models but dunno how.

I tried browsing the .DAts of the character selection models for the "motions" but cna't find it ;;

Likely they are soemthing special, like maps that have to be loaded a special way. Differently than anythign else If they loaded, like regular armor models, they would have been found. Mean, I could find out which dats they are, likely. But if they used regular models in any way, you would know, because if you swaped dat, it would show there.

So my guess, is they use a different system to be loaded.
