You should have to leave it as a path like G:\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ Because it reads it right out of the registry(when you have JP registry the first time its ran) and thats where your path would be. You should have to put whats in your registry PlayonlineUS >Install folder > Key 0001. But Whatever works

Has anyone figured out how to get the PC models to do animations? Such as idle stance, Weapon Skills, etc.

Just Chose them from the Drop downs under the Controls Section And Click play

It wasnt working because I didnt have a \ at the end of file path lol. Fixed now, such an awsome program.

After Extracting open AltanaView.ini look for the following (it should be at the bottom)

Change the G:\..... To your FFXI install folder then launch AltanaView This method works so you do not have to change your registry

Nice Drop I've been using the JP one for awhile But nice to finally see it in english.. Much smoother than windower and alot more comprehensive also.

All things liek Effects Or list Related was done by Phabin. But Your Welcome to Submit any Updates Into the Project Tracker, Form there Phabin Can Update the Lists easily and Then release new lists.

Just Submit a New Bug, One for each File you Adjust, And then you can just post the full list With your changes.

Ok, A new Version Was Released I'll Try to get this Translated soon Again. It shoudlnt' take me long to do so. (I may start right now.) As usual you may view progress in the Tracker.

* It tried to indicate the scroll bar in when form of picture left side cannot indicate the whole.
o However, the scroll bar cannot operate with the keyboard.
o In addition, it does not follow to the focusing movement of control inside.
* Method below was added to operation of the camera.
o With the wheel of the mouse, moving the camera to front and back.
o With the PageUp key and the PageDown key, moving the camera to front and back.
o With the Home key, the camera is reset to initial position, (from the BackSpace key modification).
* Collective retention-related interface of PC equipment was modified.
* The logic which detects POL and FFXI was modified.
* The point whose interface is small was improved.
* The model of チョコボ inside the ROM4 folder was added to the list.

Hopefully the newer version is able to do one specific thing better. That is show the set of .dats that are involved in the motion. Can be anything from 1-3 .dats that handle a models motion, PC models for motion are broken into 3 parts(Upper Body, Lower Body, Skirt) with the old version it only gave 1 of the .dats. That get fixed and AltanaView would definatly replace Modelviewer for me.

Other thing about the other version is it would crash out on models were the data sizes were messed up. Data sizes mostly that got messed up from VRS edits, once you correct the data sizes it worked fine though.
