Re: English Version of Virtual Reality Studio is out!
Lol, want info on how to export he motions huh?
I'll post it here, then. I provide a few pictures too I guess.
Alright Here is the steps:
Select the second FFXI object "Scene -> FFXI -> FFXI" (Image 1)
Select the "FFXI motion read" (Image 2)
Go to "File" the other race ones are currently useless no list on them. (Image 3)
From Modelviewer (or memory) on the first box select the .dat file that has the motion (NPC have their motion files self sustained in the same .dat that has their mesh and everything else).
Second box that shows 0 must be set to somethin of 1 and higher (highest limit would be highest count of motions are in that .dat, got higher then that and a error occures)
Hit OK, and you should have an exported motion file (Image 4, Note: I titled it wrong the circled is the motion object, the one I was trying to point out is known as the 'actor object' )
There you go you've got a motion exported. For an actual process example this is what I did in the picture so you can plug in actual .dats to see it in action. Model used is the PC Mithra.
As you see with step 5 you are selecting from the motion index, so finding the right motion can be a little tricky.
Also to note you see that in Step 3 there are 3 boxes were you can put in "upper-body motions', 'lower-body motions', 'skirt motions'. These are only needed if the motions are actually broken in separate areas, otherwise you should be able to just use the first box.
Re: English Version of Virtual Reality Studio is out!
Here are the images showing the sections I was talking about in the export steps.
Noticed the titling on Image 4 is wrong, the circled object is the motion file. Make sure it's selected for the two in Image 5 to turn active.
When Motion object is selected 2 motion playblack option turn active. (Image 5)
That's a start for you guys, if you need info on how to alter the motions and such that'll take me more time. It's harder to explain that whole section, and you see more how skeletons effect the vertex's.
Re: English Version of Virtual Reality Studio is out!
This motion importing thing is more confusing than I had previously thought. Certain DAT files contain many animations from various different poses or even weapon styles, and the index isn't easily viewable. Is there any way to view the indexes for a given file?

The communication cutting is not set in the server as of now.
And, the incoming connection from you is not recorded in the server.
The communication might be intercepted by your firewall.
Or, there might be a bug in the communication of vrs.
The problem cannot be specified in this forum.
If you request the investigation of the problem, I want mail in the mail address that has
been described in the homepage.

The motion is not good at the thing read by the name.
It can do nothing but look for for myself.
Re: English Version of Virtual Reality Studio is out!
I have figured many of the animation files out for mithra. There doesn't appear to be any intuitive way of deriving them, so I just loaded up all (well some, I stopped after I found the ones I was after" and just compared them to the animations in the model viewer.
This is the incomplete list for ROM51/89. LB means its a lower body animation, UB means it's a lower body animation.
1- LB wlk
2- LB die
3- LB idl
4- LB wlk
5- LB strafe
6- LB srafe
7- LB run
8- LB KO
9- LB KO
10- UB JA
11- LB battle stance
12- UB singing
13- LB not sure
14- UB use item
15- LB idl
16- UB use item
17- LB not sure
18- UB use item
19- LB idl
20- UB use item
21- LB not sure - possible WHM casting
22- UP WHM casting
23- LB not sure - possible WHM
24- UB whm casting
25- LB not sure
26- LB possible JA
27- UB whm casting
28- LB kneeling
29- LB sit
30- LB kneel/synth
31- UB BLM MB0
32- UB BLM MB1
33- UB BLM MB2
34- UB mouth
I stopped after I found the animations I wanted, so it's incomplete. It would be great if someone could incorporate this into a .DLL that VRS could select from. As of now, we'll have to figure out these animation numbers the hard way.
Re: English Version of Virtual Reality Studio is out!
Armour animation? O_o
I found it semi easy after spending some time searching around.
I'd post a back pic cept I probably already keep matcht busya s is haha
You can see the back pic on my site, I'll post the dat for this later, I made it my Bow emote XD
Re: English Version of Virtual Reality Studio is out!
Hmm... I found the file I wanted to modify, however moving the skeletons seems more difficult than moving the vertexes... It's extremely odd, as if they're twisting and scaling rather than moving cleanly.
