convert the different angles? I'm not sure what you mean but basically you just take an existing face model and change the existing one with what you make....only thing you have to make sure of is that each part of the face lines up with the original BMP because thats what goes where on the model.

(change meaning edit in photoshop, not replace the whole dat with a new one.)

Your thoughts? and I cant figure out the eyebrows and how to make the rest of his beard go off his chin... hmm and the hair i dont get either... I wanna make his facial features more like Jacks...... but its hard when u convert it in photoshop the face is distorted and i had to keep going back and adjusting @.@ can anyone help the rest of the way?? with the hair and face or give me a better idea of how to do it?? plz?

for a first try its not too bad I'll tell you what....since I'm short on time and noone else that can do this seems to want to help...if you make the facial parts how you want them, I'll put an actual beard on him ....one thats actually real, and fully functional. that cool? still gotta see about the moustache parts part but the beard is a definate .

also bear with me i dont check these forums as much as I used to so it might be a day or so before I see the posts

I tried it...didn't work out. bandana kept turning bright red in the dat while it wasdark red in the bmp.

I didnt even know I posted the .dat with the Bandana... actually I didnt.. just the face I only posted the picture of the bandana sooooooooo.......... dont know how you came accross the problem unless u found a way to upload the pic and convert it and such... and if u did that thats probably your problem with it... anyways... I didnt post the bandana .dat... *shrugs* mine looked fine in game for me =O

Actually, made one from scrap. Came upon issues with the beard position(hole in the chin), the bandana looking really bad, and the cliping errors from the hair(lenthened it to propper jack sparow length).

O.o wasnt planning on making all THAT ....I just meant I would add a real beard to it lol...first thing is to get the face skinned exactly how u want it ...then I'll add a beard.

had to format my PC and dont have FFXI on my pc yet....AND school is massivley eating all my time...this weekend I should be reinstalling FFXI if all goes well..I'll check back on friday and see the progress and might have a few mins to mess with something if you get the main stuff done
