FFXI Mob edit

I was wondering if someone could edit the normal crab .dat and make it so that they are huge (Like the size of Kirin or Genbu lol) and if possible explain how i change it so when the crab walks around they make that big thudding sound and shake the screen like genbu. I dont know if that kind of thing is even possible, but thanks a bunch in advance!

It is possible(well the making it huge, I don't know about the thudding) though I don't even have VRS, let alone know how to use it.

Well, seems like both should be possible. Just you know that making the model huge like that means it's going to eat more memory from your system to add multiple crabs like that and your memory is getting pushed hard.

As far as thudding sound, if the .wav part to combine to a model actually exports out then VRS should be able to do that also.

Also to add exploding the crab to that kind of size means motion files would have to be altered, otherwise when it walks or runs it's going to look like the legs are spazzing horribly.

I plan on probably changing one mob type to it (maybe tremmor rams) if i changed every crab in the game to that size i'd definatley crash my computer lol

Also, would anyone happen to have backups of Banish3 and banish 2 .dats? I changed them a long time ago and lost my backups somewhere ><

I changed my banish's to meteor 1 and 2 lol and well... with how much the newbie whm's spam banish these days... the lag kills my computer.

Be nice, weather he really made or not don't know. Excuse is valid enough, just say "Oh well, anyone else willing to create?" and be on your marry way. If he really did make it then he can always create it again if he's up to it.
