So after lurking and requesting and such forever, I finally started working out how to use the tools and such to start modding myself. My first project is just because galkas get no love in the collection or really anywhere, so I figured id just make a nice armor replacement.
Recolored the adaman set deepening the blues and blacks, and removing the golds to replace with silver. My next step will be to change that underlying brown gunk under the plates to silver chainmail (soon as i figure out how to do that, im thinking amadauns texturing guide) and clearing up the fuzzyness around that chest medallion thing. Biggest problem I have atm is that the leg plates slice right through my poor galka test subjects legs and I cant figure a way to fix that (it happens with the original too) other than grabbing all the vertexes in metasequoia and throwing them into the land of 0,0,0.
Dunno anything about skeletal weights other than they can be used to change movement, but would it be possible to link the plates to the leg (even though theyre from the body's .dat) so that when the galka kneels or WS's he doesnt suffer severe leg amputation?
