    FFXI Mod Community - New Forum/Layout/Style

    Hey guys,

    Some of you prob know but, I have totatly redisgned and converted the forum over to Sedito. Check it out.

    Everyone will have to do password recovery though (nothing I could do about this).

    Also I'm now allowing Direct uploading from your account, to upload dats/images. You can also Submit Dat's Into the Dat's section which is sorted and also allows for an image Preview before you even open the page!!!!

    Check it out let me knwo what you think, and or if you have any problems

    (note the site is still undergoing changes)

      Don't know,

      There is already a .DAT site which has quite a few mods on it already. If you don't know check out the FINAL FANTASY XI DATS.

        oo nice.
        how does the submit system work? I see the DAT's section and want to submit ^^

          i believe kilandors site was around first >.> and if it wasnt for his site and work with translating vrs alot of the mods made by english speaking people that are out right now would be non-existant

            Got no clue, I don't track the mods to well. Only know that other site because they seemed to comment it enough here to bring to my attention.

            LOL, can't register keeps erroring on me. States a Duplicate entry, not sure why.

              Kilandor - I uploaded a few files to the root without creating folders. Now it won't let me delete it D:

              When I created a folder and upload file into it, it says upload successful but nothing shows up in it.

              Nyasho's right. Kalindor's site is also our first resource for translated VRS.

                  To submit a Download page go into the category for what the dat is and in the top Left you should see "Submit a new page" Click that fill in all the info.

                  As for the folder thing
                  To view the folder click Under the Lable "Folder" that icon and you can go into it. I tesed this just now it wokrs for me.

                  To Upload into that folder change the / to the folder. (Folders arent really nesicary but yes you can do them)

                  To Delete Simply Click the [X] On the Far left.

                  I haven't got to play with it to much to see how the gallery thing works but i'll get to that sometime soon


                  @Macht I think you already have an account. Just use Password recovery.

                  And Well I hope to make my Site better than FFXI Dat's

                  As things go along I plan on Having ranks for freqent modders where thier dat's will be automaticly validated.

                  Currently I have to approve them. But this shoudl be done daily so no worries.

                  And changes will be comming of course. I'm stil learnign this new forum and everything. But I like to so much more.

                  And yes my site has been around much longer than ffxidats. It started in....Oct 2005

                  I also like the icons for the sections The Char ones was kinda hard to find.

                  There is a forum shop plugin I plan on adding at some point once I get aroudn to it and check it out. And Of course got the IRC chat

                    clicking the X many times, my files are still there in the root >.< Also I tried uploaded a fw files into the Jei folder and not showing.

                    I also not seeing the submit new page link o.O?

                      Fixed the NPC/Mosnters page..

                      I was able to delete your files. But there is some PHP error trign to look into fast. If can't get it quick I'll have to look into it tomorrow. I"m way past my bed time ^^

                          Ah ok the Image Problem should be fixed (Accidently didn't CHMOD the thumbnail folder) Try re-uploading the stuff now.

                              Check it out I had to change your link though. And you didn't put in a Preview Image So I put that in for you.

                              Update: When Submiting dat's be sure to make the download url a full it should be something like http://www.ffximc.com/datas/user/#/file

                              Also your can use the same link for your Image as the Preview! Check out the examples to look at how it looks


                              Macht's Problem has been fixed this was problem on my part not setting AutoIncrement back in SQL (man i hate having to export as MYSQL40)
