    looking for help making these

    I have been trying to shorten sleeves of outfits using VRS but... its not working how I want.. it just cuts them OFF, and leaves nothing there. Anyone know how to do this? please explain. I want to make something similar to these.
    Also anyone able to help, or explain how I can make fishnet sleeves as well, as an alternate version? I'd like to do these outfits as well as a blue outfit and a white one... ... I guess thats another request >< ...anyone able to turn my ninja outfits (released on my other post) white? just turn it white, I can do all the rest as long as the cloth pieces are white. No need to worry about the other stuff, as long as the shading etc is there.

    Its a lot to ask for.... but hopefully I can get this down and make some REALLY cool stuff soon. Thanks

    maybe, but when i lost all my files, i kinda lost my will to mod. i also been really busy at work. i also started having fun lvling bst......

      well maybe turn ninja Af to white? or if you can find ANY male ninja Af's that have been turned white? (I can fix all the loss to detail, as long as the CLOTH parts of it have decent shading). I think I figured out how to do these but.... just cant get that red Af2 to be white without MAJOR issues lol


      EDIT: yup thanks to mooshywooshy (yet again lol) Ive figured out how to combine armor without setting weights woooot

      so far this is what Ive got (no I havent even finished cutting the other armor out of this thing yet so dont ask about why the arms have cloth on it lol, I havent even touched that yet)... I just barely got them to NOT have giant lumps on them from ninja AF sleeves. the mask is purple I know lol... this wasnt going to be released and still wont ...at least not in these colors. I made ninja outfits and am not a ninja...SOOOO... I decided since im a puppetmaster that I'd make it look slightly pup looking

        It merges well, but for some reason the head seems gigantic.

        Probably just my imagination, haha.

          lol it only looks that way in model viewer... besides hows it look huge? its the same hood as the cloaks in FFXI lol its not like I resized it.
          Add one of the ninja outfits I made into your game for 5 minutes.... I bet you'll be hooked XD ...I was, and I wasnt even a NINJA lol, theres just no going back to regular ninja Af after I added these into mine... never!

          heres an update on what Im getting done on it ^^....its slooooowly getting there lol... you've never had clipping issues till you merge two things together using VRS lol lemme tell you ...ugh, the horrors..... anyways I figured I'd put up a few pics of it as well as a squall outfit I tried to remake into a kyo outfit a while back ....did that without VRS, but now that I know how to use VRS for making arms etc... after I finish this, I'll be onto that project... btw, anyone know how to UN mirror outfits in VRS? I'd like to add the moon emblem onto the back of his shirt as well.

          yet another update.....
          90% done with the whole thing. ^^ luckily I saved everything so I can change colors of the outfit very easily.......now If I can just make it white lol.


          UPDATE:
          Okay so far I got 99.5% of all clipping issues taken care of. (very very minimal black spot underneath arm, during certain animations. Ive looked everywhere for this tiny piece, and havent been able to find it sooo... Im going to start skinning this piece now. I'll be adding fishnets to the arms and making some gloves for it as well, and hopefully... i'll come up with a white outfit somehow also...if not, then this project will stay as it is.... a project. I will also be finding some spikey hair as well if this ninja project works out ... I will be making it editable for anyone who requests them (including PSD files for quick editing of colors). Hopefully I'll make 3 versions. One Hanzo hittori version from samurai shodown, One galford version from the same game (hence the spikey hair), and a regular version as well......and if I get a white one I may make a shinobi version as well lol.

          P.S squall outfit was not made by me, i just recolored it to look like kyo's.
          took like 5 minutes tops lol.

            i was thinking the same thing..... kinda reminds me of lord helmet from spaceballs....

            i think its the bottom of the hood that makes it look huge....

              yeah its the bottom... but... if you make it smaller the mask cuts into the sides when he swings... trust me download it and you wont notice it ALL! dont worry lol those are the last of the ninja masked ones lol.....I think.....anyways chweck my other post for the .dats if you'sd like them
