My "work" so far

Well, so i've been playing around with 3D Studio Max, as you might have guessed from the other 2 posts I wrote before this. Here's what I got so far, the light and shadowing thing doesn't seem to work for me that good yet.



Ow yea, and the coloring of the floor is easy, except for some reason it won't pick white, like an "invisible" floor..

Here's a better one, made today, after learning from the guide, it goes pretty easy, just takes practice. I got the floor a little whiter by setting everything in "Enviroments" under the Rendering menu to pure white, but still not fully white.

The darker contrast, as in the first picture is easy to set up, depending on lighting settings, it sometimes makes the whole thing look a bit cooler.


Eventually, I'd like to make a wallpaper with this model in the AA Wallpaper style that StarvingArtist has made. It's for a friend. And, with my own models lots of pictures like "Selece" has made, you probably seen the pictures of Windurst, the Goobbue in Rolanberry and such.
Actually, all I need is a nice picture and then to "cut out" models.

I editted the shadows of the model slightly. Think it looks better like that? I like it though, not bad.

Thanks for that Starving Artist. ^^ Is gonna make my wallpaper-creation-horizon a lot bigger.

Speaking of which, working on a big wallpaper now with my boyfriend's and my characters.

Another problem.. I did what you said, and the floor did dissappear ^^. But, so have my shadows.. they are still there, but appearantly they're white, so on a white floor with white background, they won't appear. How do I change this? Inlcuding screenshot in a minute.
