    God I love my new Wyvern!

    Just some .dat's changing... I'm gonna level me Dragoon again :x.

            Wait a min. wasn't sweetkitty the one complaining in a .DAT thread about how players are sick for getting off on panty models and provocative stuff? So uhh what's the deal with the pants then?

            Is intresting seeing "Odin" next to a player model. Now I'm more convinced it isn't a Summon, it's size is to big...

              It is appearantly not Odin. The name is Dark Rider, and it's spotted in Wajaom Woodlands by someone on KillingIfrit's forums. Also, when you look at it in Model Viewer, the "death" animation of it is simply the Dark Rider riding away.. So it's very doubtfull that it's an avatar or HNM. Anyway, as it was simply walking in the wild (appearantly, I haven't seen it in game yet)... who knows what he is.

              Well it's called "Dark Rider" and not Odin, so it's not supposed to have 6 or 8 legs.

                But look how HUGE Diabolos is. Thing takes up my full screen the few times I've seen somebody with it. I can't say it's that much larger.

                Any idea when the new Avatars are gonna be released?

                  The Dark Rider is deffinately bigger than Diabolos, for most area's even too big. Besides, what new avatars? Cerberus is a HNM in game lol, anyway that's what I suspect (there's a 3-headed big dragon in the ToAU .dat files). Most I can tell is, in another thread it shows a billboard that was shown at the FFXI Fan Festival in Santa Monica... ah, found it.

                  I guess they haven't planned anyhing soon yet.

                    Nope not trying to start any flames, just pointing out something I thought was an irony. Pretty much from how you were stating on those .DAT threads it seemed like you would not use a mod like that one.

                    Don't matter as I stated before Diabolos is top heavy so he only covers the upper half leaving the section were you see mobs and such clear. To the point Diabolos is big but design still keeps from interfering with your view.

                            From my understanding, based on what I read off of numerous KI threads mind you, the Dark Rider is a temperary spawn in a ToAU mission. You're asked to find info on the 'Dark Rider', check something, have him appear and he'll then despawn leaving a hoofprint NPC or something like that. It was sketchy info at best but still interesting.

                            And based on how the .dat file has no 'death' emote, it's still possible this *is* Odin. It wouldn't be the first time in FF history where you could fight a mob who ran away at a certain point in the fight. There is most likely more to the story of this Mob then what we've seen, and I'm pretty sure it has some direct connection to the ToAU main story.

                            Oh and btw, nice pants (~.^)b
