  • Animation replacements; how far into that are we?

    For example, the ark angels have friggin cool ways to cast magic, attack, etc. Anyone know how to edit animes? or even just replace it with one existing in another char? Of course animation points and bone weight would have to be adjusted but is it possible? Do we have the tools yet for this?

        Well not all the JP animation are...questionable content. lol

        I have a very impressive WS for Hume Female Sword. It's a lot like Tidus' Spiral Slash from FFX.

          All I want to do is for my Hume to shoot arrows sideways like Elvaan males. :-P

            Well, I don't know anything about editting animations.. not seen it anywhere, but I do know people can use NPC's animations on their own character, switch equipment, area, Weapon skill .dat's..

              If you have an edited DAT... other people will NOT be able to see it as you're the only one with that file. If I had what I want... my Hume would shoot arrows the normal way to everyone else's eyes, but like an elvaan on MY screen only.

                      "not seen it anywhere"

                      That to me looked like that's what she meant. My apologies for misunderstanding that.

                        Sounds to me like she meant on this site or others lol.

                        I just hope that when this is released to english speaking people that they show a lil decency and dont degrade mithras and humes further lol... the japanese already started doing so >.<

                          as far as basica animations.... I know someone found a way to turn their third swing of the combo of attacks with sword into the animation for savage blade, without all the funky effects, it involved a hex editor... was just a lil bit before spell swapper was introduced. so I know people can and have figured it out to some extent

                          note: jp aren't real people >.>;; <.<;;
                          VRS, it's like shoving an apple down a baby's throat.

                            JP don't degrade mithra half a smuch as humes >.<

                            This has probably been asked before, but, can't VRS change animation files?
                            I still need to download that....stupid 56k...

                              I have been hunting down animation editing for a long time, unfortunately I don't think we'll ever find out how to do it.
