  • Ingame transparency prob

I got the knack of editting colors and how to make areas you want transparent.. but when I tried it on the adaman body's plates, it looked fine in MV but IG they were still there. I followed all the steps on Phabin's site so please don't tell me to go there >_> ... And um, thats it >< Any ideas of what I've done wrong?

Well theres always that slim chance you replaced the wrong dat? Heh.

Not too sure what could be causing that though, sorry.

Afterthought: You could always just select that part of the armor and move all the vertices inside the waist. (Go to "Selected" » Align Vertices" and make sure you check all 3 boxes. Then just move then into the center. Make sure you don't use the Align Vertices function, that will mess it up.)

Another possible problem with that is that many of the metallic armors use a material attatchment to certain parts of the DAT which causes a shift in how the alpha layer performs- at once causing the ability to shine on the 'white' parts of the alpha map, while at the same time disabling transparency. Using VRS this can be stricken, but for those without experience, the 'move them inside the model' trick works equally well.
