Nah, I never asked you to remove, I was just curious. Like I said, I don't like it, But i am sure others will, so let them download it. you got more skill than me to be able to do what you did in the first place. like i said i wasn't trying to be a prick, even if it seemed like i was. just very agrivated.

As the song says, you can't please everyone, so ya gotta please yourself.

One other small note- The greening of the jacket seems to happen with all grayscale textures- When going back and forth, especially with the frequency you seemed to be doing while texturing the jacket, causes an increasing shift in color towards green. When I have to work with metal, or anything including black for that matter, rather than work directly with the .DDS I keep a master as a .png with an alpha channel, which I then copy over to the .DDS to prevent this from occuring.

Since you mentioned however that your monitor doesn't allow you to see this, you may wish to simply consider using a rectangular select and shifting the black/gray parts to grayscale in order to avoid the color shift.

Then again, since it doesn't seem to affect you, you are effectively fine the way you are.

thank you for adding the pendant storm, and thank you lostcross for the model to begin with. As for making the piece for yourself, and not wanting people to ridicule your work, I completely understand that...however I mentioned those things in the understanding that you wanted it to be as close as possible to the original model, because that is how I am so I figured it was the same with most modders who make things from other games into FFXI. I DID however take into consideration that maybe you wanted to leave it as is, on purpose, and that is why I asked if I could mod it instead of asking you to make it this way or add this or blah blah, my thoughts are... if the item satisfies the creator, but not the person who downloads it... then THEY should fix it...unless they have a reason they cant do that of course. But then again... for some reason I also feel I'd rather have the person who made its original work instead of me copying it too though so... go figure. Again lostcross... you did an excellent job with the whole set and I love it! there was nothing LACKING in the model, it was just preferences thats all, and thats why I edited instead of bugging you to do so. I may even make this jacket into a few other videogame char outfits with your permission later on when I have time... theres been a few fighting game chars Ive wanted to play as in FFXI lol .... like Iori, and Kyo of KOF series... I think with a slight change in the collar this would fit perfectly with them

        EDIT------
storm---- Thanks for adding the pendant to it, it might not be perfect to EVERYONE (nothing is, or ever will be lol) but to me... its perfect, its exactly what I was looking for and after all... whose going to be able to look THAT closely at it while playing FFXI? I think it will be perfect in game. if it isnt... then they are paying to much attention to the items and not playing the game anyways lol, again thanks lostcross, and storm! you guys are awesome! on a small sidenote, I think we should not worry too much on others opinions on the way things look and accept everyone having their own apionions and just be glad people in these forums actually give INPUT AND HELP, instead of ignoring posts because they are afraid people will tell them off for giving their opinions ....too MUCH help is better than none at all.

          ^_^
I still think it looks pretty nice either way. Like it more than the Dante one.

My only single issue is with the neck being too large but that's more S-E's fault (they can't proportion necks worth a damn!)
I believe most sigs are like the people they represent - useless, loud and obnoxious.
