  • I'm having a really frustrating problem with Metasequoia.

I can't read a damn thing in this program, and I can't find an answer to my problem anywhere. I've been Googling stuff for over 2 hours. Every screenshot I see has perfectly normal text/font. I just don't get what the problem is. I hope one of you can help me.

Edit: I forgot, I just wanted to clarify before someone makes the suggestion, "Did you try setting it to English?" It -is- in English. If you look really close when using the program, you can see a lot of that stuff is in barely legible English. You kind of have to guess what it is, or highlight the button with the mouse to get a preview. You can't read most of it, though, and it sure makes for a heck of a time trying to use the program anyway.

I have this problem viewing certain people's Xangas in firefox @.@ I dunno what causes it.

...that's odd. I can't seem to make it all illegible like that. What do you have your language settings on your computer set to?
      desktop resolution/color depth?
Do you have non-standard drivers installed for your video?
Does this happen in any other programs?

Hm. I encountered something similar to this once.

Try turning off ClearType in display effects.

Edit: That is to say, right-click Desktop, Display Properties, Appearance, Effects.

        It's a click-box.

ClearType was already off, and I tried turning it on and had the same problem. >.<

My resolution is 1280x1024, color depth is 32-bit (if that's what you're asking), I'm using standard ATi drivers for my video card, and I've -never- encountered this problem before and everything else works perfectly fine. I thought maybe I'm missing the standard font for Metasequoia (spelling) and it defaults to something else, which is illegible in the font size.

Anyone have another solution, or know what the name of the font the program uses is?

          Thanks for the replies.
