  • Modifying Textures Help

I've looked around and can't seem to find exactly how I can modify textures. I'm working on a Mithra head and I've gotten this much finished.

What I can't figure out how to apply my modified texture to this. I've tried using the texturing option in Metasequoia however when I convert the mqo file back into a dat via the Model Viewer the texture still remains the default one as seen above. How do I insert my own texture and keep it when converting it to dat? I've checked around and just can't find information on this, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's because you're only modifying the .bmp file with your new texture. After you have the .bmp remapped onto your model, ensure you keep the same dimensions and convert the .bmp to a .dds file, then import it back into Model Viewer.

    Should fix your problem.

I dunno what he just said, but what I do is save the MQO reconvert it to BMP and fix it up in Photoshop.
