moding colors of armor

help me out please, i have soem cool ideas i want to do to some armor but i cant seem to figure it out on how to do it i have the model viewer, and i have the gear i want to change but from there i cant seem to actually mod the gear to what i want and get it to view right.

i work with adobe photoshop cs v9.0 and ive tried he tutorial up top in the forum but cause its not to detailed i believe i have missed something or doing something wrong.

If some one could help me it would be a great deal of help to me

Ironic that you asked about this. I just got done looking for some sites to do this as well. Try this site: Texture/Color Editing. The tutorial is created by the same person that makes the model viewer lists.

TY gokage that site helped me out alot just what i needed a step by step on how to do it. If you want to see what i did check out my new post My first mod (hauberk test) on the main dat and image rendering part.
