Spell swapper confusion

ok, i wanna change the effect of a weapon skill but i can't get it to do it.

i wanna change Spirits within's effect animation for thunder thrust, and then again for Raiden thrust.

(cuz i'd edited all my polearms to 1 handed swords and the polearm weapon animations don't fit properly)

but every time i try to get the animation, it gives an error.

if you're just swapping one weapon skill for another, you can swap entire dat files. there's a list floating around of which weapon skills are in which dats for which race. from your avatar, let's assume you're mithra.

the thunder thrust ws is in: 1-86-84.dat
the spirits within ws is in: 1-86-30.dat

simply make a backup of your current thunder thrust, then copy the spirits within one over the old thunder thrust and it should work, i believe

not what i meant, i want to use the thrusting motion from spirits within, with thunder thrusts effect animation.

Check the topic, there is a new version available that will fix the bugs.
