Using Locus awesome guide I decided to try it out


Locus, thank you for you great guide, I still haven't mastered it but i tried and like the outcome so far.


since she made demonish wings, i decided to make some angel wings, shaping out the wings was much harder than i thought it would.

if you want the dat i will post it. but other wise. I am tired of sharing some work and all the people can do is complain about it. I know i am not the best and have that much skill but at least i am trying and willing to share. people that don't complain just download and don't even say thanks or good job.... thats why i am not sharing anymore FF models. I know I can never meet people's standards on their heros of the past final fantsasy. and i got tired of just hearing complaints and negative. how many people here that are critics can make them?

Here's a few tips you might want to use for improvement:
You didn't have to go through all the trouble of shading it again. Copy and reuse textures! There's a few feather textures you can extract from the game - Textures from Sel'theus and the chocobo model, or even the roc wings can probable be recoloured to look nice.

You can also improve the edge quality (not make them look so jagged) by using an alpha channel. I find the way you put the wings in interesting - maybe that might solve the clipping issues I get when my character sits down.

thanks for the tips, decided to go for the anglic wings since you made the demonic ones, i never thought of re using a texture for the wings, thanks, I was thinking about adding in a alpha channel to get rid of some of the jaggies, but i didn't know if what showing added more character to the wings.

when sitting there is little clipping, some, which i don't can be fixed since they were modded for shoulder pads. I was also thinking that we could to do something with the bottem part of the armor that hangs at the sides of your hips. maybe another layer of the wings so they don't look so flat? or halo or horns? you know what i mean?

:D Cute! Thanks Is there a way you can make the wings just an accessort of their own? Like for instance, in DeviFoxx's mod collection, the Mithra tail ribbon?
