    Re: Automated effect .dat switching

I was hoping someone could help me, I used race converter to change my hume character into an elvaan. However when I try to change the face, (because I want the black haired Elvaan) it doesn't change. I made my origional face .dat file into the elvaan face I wanted AND the default Elvaan face it gave me file into the one I wanted.. Still didnt change it..

*wonders why the hell people ask Race Converter questions in Spell Swapper topics*

Am i the only one who notices that any time you swap your spells out with a monster effect-- that your character's body floats/warps/melts/twists and looks like it has gone through a series of trash compactors?

          Re: Automated effect .dat switching

Aye, that's because the animation doesn't match your character's make-up. An arm bone in a monster may be a leg in a player character, for example.

For some reason, it says that it can't find the files. Can someone tell me what specific directory I need to set it to?

                1. Make sure there is a folder named "Backups" where you put SpellSwapper.exe
                2. If you're selecting the "Custom Path" option, make sure that it a. is set to the folder named FINAL FANTASY XI, and b. has a \ at the end of the path.

I did, searched "Divine" without the quote. Found nothing. Checked JA and not there either.

Make sure your list is the most recent version (3-37-06 NPC Corrections)

Try updating again, prehaps it was one of the ones I've added recently and did not update the list for whatever reason.. :/

Edit: I know why now, lol. The list update that it is in was intended for the newest version of the program coming out, which will include "Items", "Blue Magic", etc. tabs. I've made the list compatible with the current program versions, so go ahead and click Update Spell List.

I updated yesterday (or the day before)...but I'll update again. Is the version with the new tabs released yet?

Not yet, it's going to be a pretty big update because we've switched to a different platform.
