Re: Notes on Modding Character Animations

ok Balfree, your request is up on http://ffxi.wronger.com -- last link. i didn't test it in-game, but i think it should work. took about an hour and a half ; ; meep.

i personally didn't really like how it turned out. i think the BLM casting > SMN finish would look better 'cause both hands're out in that one. but, whatever floats your boat. enjoy~

well, let me take a look

i am having a bit of a hard time figuring out your step-by-step instructions, however i think getting a hex editor will probably clear some of the doubts, tho the one i got at first was really, really confusing

Will pretty much any freeware hex editor out there work? Or any suggesstions on a good one? I know next to nothing about this sort of thing so any guides would be extremely useful, been trying to google some info but so far my brain is on meltdown-mode.

That one for BLM with NIN at the end~ The file for it, (I haven't looked) is it one where I'd have to change lots of files to get it to work, or is it simply a backup and 1 .DAT change, like armor and such.

I wonder if someone could do that, but for elvaan female. =3=; She looks so weird on the final cast for BLM, stands on her toes leaning forward and it just looks like she's about to fall forward. XD Just a thought. ^ ^ Thanks.
