Possible?

Well, recently I've been messing with VRS...still haven't learned how to do anything, but I still like to play around with it. I came across the "Combining Models" 'walkthrough' on Kilandor's website...and it got me thinking.

I write fanfics for FFXI, and sort of been thinking of 'acting' out some of the scenes in either comics or even little videos. One of my characters, however, has a completely different hairstyle then any of the models.

Basically it's Elvaan female face 6 with silver hair. But the back is black with a ponytail, much like Elvaan male face 4b. So I was thinking--is it possible to some how 'rip' the back hair and pony tail of the male elvaan, put it on the female Elvaan, remove her back hair (keep her bangs, the hair in front of her ears) and have it look 'okay'?

I can figure it may not due to the models being different, but I figure since both are Elvaan, there was similiarties. I tried it myself, but I can't really follow Kilandor's walkthrough of combining models. I always mess up at some place. Maybe it'd be interesting to some of you VRS users?

Just an idea though. Would be nice to see. ^^

it's possible.. but I don't know how to help you ^^:; seeing as how I have no experience whatsoever.

I onry say it's possible because I have seen many hair mods and what you speak of shouldn't be that difficult for some of the people here

Well, first my name Is Kilandor but thats ok

But yea its possible jsut the skeleton weight has to be changed around some. Since your going from Male > Female unless I read what you said wrong.

Thanks lol at least some people think it's possible. And sorry, Kilandor Guess I'll re-read through the walkthroughs and give it a try again. If anyone wants to give it a try before me, go right ahead.

Oh, and Kilandor, it's just basically taking the male's hair and putting on the female's, while deleting the female's back hair and keeping her bangs (which hopefully cover up the forehead portion of the male's hair).
